great staff, good location (far enough away from crowds and close enough with shuttle to work well), good rooms prices and outdoor setting with lots of bamboo. clean rooms and good a/c. Food and drink prices a little high for the level of hotel. Beds were finished with immediate need of replacement We appreciate management attempting to freshen up older hotel. -Attendents were very polite Overall this was the best hotel I have stated in in a long time. The price is very reasonable and you get more then what you pay for. This will be my permanent hotel of chose next time I visit Phuket...Thanks!!!
Nightlife Tip : If you want a little quite time from the night life and a break from the venders trying to sell you something ever 5 seconds then Club Bamboo is your best choice.

swimming pool, area was great not to noisy furniture needs to be changed good area not to noisy we recommend everyone ho stays in this hotel to rent a bike, car, or even a donkey u will need it

Convenient to Patong, but out of the noisy district. Club Bamboo is a nice resort hotel on the far edge of Patong. If you want to be close to the excitement but prefer not to be right in the middle of it, it's a great choice. It's walkable to the beach area (for those not minding a hike), or there is a periodic shuttle down there (there's no return shuttle). The rooms are nice, decorated in typical Thai style. No free water bottles in the minibar. But there is free Wifi in the rooms! Just ask at the desk.
Nightlife Tip : Check out the Simon Cabaret show - it's terrific!

Clean rooms,Long list of dvd selection,friendly and helpful staff Not so near to the beach,free transport only one way,no hair dryer,limited breakfast selection and free dvd viewing only from one channel. Stay at the hotel is a peaceful one,staff are all very friendly and efficient.They are pretty flexible about our request and try at their best to accommodate us.Special request like booking of transfer from airport,rental vehicle,tours and early check-in are done promptly and hassle free.They have pretty clean and nicely decorated rooms.
The resort is a distance from Patong beach where most of the attraction is.Although the resort provides transport,it's only one way,no return trip.It's about a good 15mins walk to the beach and at night it can be pretty dark.
Don't expect a great breakfast buffet spread as there is only 3 basic set meals to choose from.
There is a long dvd list we can choose for in-house viewing,but only one channel to view from.So if someone has just started a show going,i'll have to wait for like an hour plus before my selection can be played.
Overall we had a pleasant stay,would recommend this place for those who are on a tight budget and prefers to be away from the heart of action.
Restaurant Tip : There's a seafood stall in Patong Market call Good Friend Eat about 5 to 10 mins walk on the right of the resort.The yellow curry crab taste good and prices are cheaper compared to those at Patong beach area.It's open 24 hours!

Handful of sincere rank and file staff. Managements, quality of water and insincerity. For a boutique hotel, I would maybe expect a more scrumptious breakfast. The actual place looks run down compare to pictures posted on the net. The water quality were horrendous and were put to management attention but got absolutely no response from management except from the staff. They were even early check out due to that from other guests. I did arrange for a late check out, but were told to move room 4 hours prior to checking out from the hotel. Renovations on hotel site was in progress without prior information to guests and apologies. We were ask to move room to accomodate another unhappy guest with a newborn. We help out by rushing into town, had a quick meal and did the requested transfer of rooms and were still being charged for our troubles. Definitly not going back or recommending this hotel. Some staff were sincere & accomodating and as for management,(except the GM which was on maternity leave) they really need to polish up their acts and stop passing the buck to the rank & file.
Hotel Feature Tip : Nothing positive, lots of steps and possibly not appropiate for mature guests and they seriously need to look into the water condition (no one likes to shower, wash crockeries or brush their teeth with brownish colour water). The hotel were managed very poorly, almost with total disregard to the welfares of the paying guests. Boutique hotel as they claimed is totally incorrect & overated.

The room had clean design but there were ants. Service was terrible at resturaunt and hotel claustraphobic.

The super-service hotel, and not a child SHUTTLE BUS to the beach PATONG saved TUTU or rent motorized ride. Quiet location for those who prefer to walk JUNGCELONG about 15 minutes, you can rent motorcycles to, 200B day, another charge of oil, but from close SIMON to see where Simon show. Always choose you will not regret CLUB BAMBOO, airport taxi should have been aware of this hotel.
