Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Coral Island Resort, March 2008

Very friendly staff the beach can get busy with day trippers but resort guests have their own part of the beach and after 3 pm guests and staff are the only people on the island.

It's a highly recommended place. We went there after Phi-Phi island trip and found it even better than Phi-Phi. If you want to enjoy a quite and romatic place, Coral Island is the one you can't miss.

Will always remember Coral Island
8.3
Great for 3 or 4 days.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Take a day tour to the Island - it includes lunch and snorkelling great for less than the price of a single boat ride.

Would definitely return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk to the other beach at about 4 pm to see the Hornbill birds decend. I got within five feet of one!

The other restaurants along the beach from the hotel are great but still not as cheap as the mainland, but they do make a nice change from the hotel and the quality is good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Use the hotels transfer service. It works and saves an awful lot of hassle.

Fantasic for a few days wind down on a beach
7.3
We went in November so almost had the resort to ourselves which was great--nice and quiet.
The accomodation is vey basic but functional and comfortable, but make sure you get a beach front bungalow, they are worth the extra cost. The beach front bunalows are all separate except for one double unit at the southern end of the beach.
Travel tip:
Make sure you take plenty of snacks and drinks out with you as they are very pricey at the resort and you have no option other than to take a boat trip into Chalong Bay at 1200 baht per person return. Also in the off season there are no long tail boats around so you have to use the resort's speed boat at the above price.
