Lovely room and pool, close to everything
We had a private pool, didn't use it but the room was in a great spot

The mini pool was tiny and the spa jets didn't work but the main pool was amazing and right next to our room so we didn't have far to walk at all.
The staff at the bar were lovely and the pool side food was great.

stayed at deevana in 2010, this was a return visit for my 50th.
6 family members had 3 rooms in various locations within the deevana resort.
had a fantastic time, hotel once again brilliant
the staff were fantastic and the hotel is in a wonderful location being perfect for access to/from beach & town.
we all thoroughly enjoyed our time again at deevana.
would certainly recommend hotel when visting phuket, we will be returning one day soon!

unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. the garden rooms were more like a motel room in nz, and very basic. the staff were generally not very friendly. the rules were strict and one could think that you were in a prison environment. we stayed at other hotels in phuket and loved them. unfortunately we will not be going back to deevana.
on the positive side, the breakfasts were great.

Stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. Though it's a short stay however enjoyed every bits and pieces of it.
The jacuzzi is just outside the bedroom and at your comfort. Walk over it, and it's the swimming pool.
Room was big and the bed are simply comfortable especially after a long and tired walk. Renting of motorbike is cheap but we chose to walk instead to watch the scenery as well as the shopping along Bangla road. The nightlife were amazing especilly along the A-go-go lane Food was easy to find especially halal food. If you are a seafood lover, there are plenty of seafood restaurants to choose from. Shopping was not that great as the prices are not cheap and you really have to have a good tactic bargaining the items that you really want.
There are two transfers provided free of charge to Phuket town (leaving hotel @ 12.30pm) and Jungceylon-Patong Beach (leaving hotel @ 10.30am). You can choose to request for the pick-up as well.
Jungceylon is one big shopping mall. There's also a food court located at the basement which you may find some halal stalls there. Payment has to be made by the 'food card' which can be purchased at the counter, after which the money can be refunded if you don't need it anymore. The mosque is within the walking distance and you can also find more halal food opposite the mosque. Patong beach is very nice. The waves are really made for surfing. Relaxing by the beach is simply breathtaking.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Most of the toiletries are provided except for toothbrush! So remember to bring along. Hehe
Breakfast was not great! And it's not halal either.

although it was a superior room, we got a basic room. overall clean and rooms were new although front desk personnel is not very helpful or very friendly. only 1 lady treated us without any attitude and her name is dam, the manager. she helped us with arrangement of of rooms and was polite and courteous. the rest of the front desk staff has an attitude prob.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take a tut tut (400 Bath) from hotel to the beautiful picturesque Kata beach to enjoy shaded seats under umbrellas.

Front desk personnel was not very friendly. Rooms are small but new and clean. Overall has a very resort feel. If its raining, umbrellas are required as you will get wet walking to rooms. Make sure you request for the new wing.
Restaurant Tip:
we enjoyed food at savoey. although it looks touristsy, the food is delicious and not very expensive. option for ac or non ac.

The reception staff are very friendly always happy to help. The breakfeast are very good catering for every taste, with endless tea and coffee. The facilities are excellent, I utilised the gym every morning and the pool areas are very clean with more than enough sun loungers to accomodate the guests. The room was good with a large balcony, very clean and was made up by house keeping everyday.
