Two hotels - make sure you pay for the better one
The reception staff were excellent, spoke (for Thais) good English, were responsive and remembered my name every time. The Spa wing was nice (4 star) and good value.

After one disappointing night in the Garden wing- basically a luxury backpacker room with air con, moved to the Spa rooms for $20 more per night. Well worth it. These rooms aren't special, but have a nice layout with great balcony and are clean and modern. Overlooking a lovely pool, the location is quiet and relaxed. When combined with a good reception, fantastic service from the staff and a location just far enough from the hustle and bustle (15 mins walk to Bangla) and not too far from the beach (10 mins walk).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Afternoon trip to James Bond Island (Jim's) is a great way to spend the afternoon and see some special islands.

a convenient place to stay
Compare with its low price and all facility, this hotel is absolutely my best choice. It's breakfast is so far better than what I got in other hotels.
7.7
To my surprise, except the spa and swimming pool like every other hotels, they still provide body exercise facility to practice your muscles. I like this. It seems they consider the needs from different people. The only thing that bother me is the smell of my room. Although the room I booked is the cheapest one, they still should keep it under good condition. Unfortunately the room smells not good. This is the only weakness I found.
Shopping Tip:
You can buy food or other thing in 7-11 shop. It opens all day and the price is reasonable.

We got the standard room, it felt old and cheap, and if you have noisy neighbors you are in trouble!!! The only pros I remember from this hotel was the breakfast... nothing more...
Travel tip:
We only stayed there for a night because we wanted to get on the next morning ferry to Koh Phi Phi, so if you plan the same, try and plan your trip to get the 13:00 ferry to Phi Phi.

Everything was okay accept the receptnist
Nice place, good swimming pool, cheap. Near nightlife places, 20 minute walk to beach. Quiet place.

I got a bad experience, where I booked using my credit card and then my credit card is physically damage, so I cant bring there. And turn out that you need to show the credit card to the hotel in order to proceed check-in. The receptionist was very rude about it, while it could have been done nicely. If I was wrong, she could just tell me, and we could find an alternative way to solve it.
Travel tip:
Is about 20 minute walk to the beach. Also opposite the hotel you can find nice and cheap food. There is a spa outside the hotel. Nightlife places are a 20 minute walk away.

Great hotel for the price
Really good value four-star hotel, not a bad location, close enough to the madness but not too close!
9.3
Great value for money we thought. Pool is lovely, rooms are clean, big and comfortable. The staff are extra friendly, the people in this country could teach customer service! Really couldn't say a bad word about this hotel for the money we paid. Had a slight problem with the A/C but it was dealt with quickly. All in all, would highly recommend it.
Nightlife Tip:
Grab a tuk tuk to Bangla road from outside the hotel but don't pay more than 100 baht. It's close enough to walk but it's more fun bargaining with the tuk tuk drivers!

Good staying Resort
cCean swimming pool (saw them clean it everyday).
Nice breakfast that suites Asians. Good housekeeping every morning.
8.7
Deevana Resort & Spa is a nice resort, and my entire group was satisfied with the service and the buffet breakfast. This resort is not built in the center of city, thus at night, we can sleep well. Nearby the resort, we can easily find 7/11 & family marts, it allows us to buy items that we need at anytimes.
Restaurant Tip:
At 1 side of Patong Beach, there is a restorand call "Bo's Restorant", the price of food is almost the same (a bit cheaper), but the food is quite ok by me! Even with the the tom yam soup they will let u choose how spicy u want.

Deevana was the first hotel when we arrived Phuket. The room is okay but looks a little bit old. The bath room is quite big but the room seems small.
Deevana's breakfast buffet was the best among that of the 4 hotels we stayed in. If it could change the variety a little daily, it would be even better.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the massage in the hotel is too expensive. we went to the street and picked one randomly. It was so nice. The price was about 1/2 of that in the hotel.
