The staffs' smiles were good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It takes 5 minutes to walk to the Patong beach. There is Rock City(rock music bar). We enjoyed it.

Additionally the staff was nice although it looks as if not genuine in their faces sometimes. But never the less Friendly..
Restaurant Tip:
The food in the hotel was pretty decent, means you don't have to go far for a good nights meal. Plus it is nice with the open air circulation..

Relaxing week at the Deevana
Beautiful location and gardens, great selection of swimming pools and entertainment.

I enjoyed my few days at Deevana. The staff seemed generally helpful and friendly and the resort is well run with plenty of entertainment arranged by the hotel and available around the grounds. The area of patong is a great part of phuket to stay as there are so many other people on holiday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I recommend going for a day or overnight to PhiPhi island. It is one of the most beautiful islands in the world and only about 2 hours from phuket on a boat. It is the film location of "The Beach" movie.

Really liked Deevana. It was very quiet when we were there (May) so there wasn't much atmosphere, but I can imagine it buzzing when its busy. Got a warm damp facecloth to freshen up on arrival. Had couples massage there which was lovely. The pools were great too. The restaurant food wasn't the best, so would recommend eating out!

The food at the end of the street has some nice little delicacies if you don't want to walk downtown. However did the walk twice daily, good health and you see more.
Shopping Tip:
Don't forget the foot massage. Have more than one; it will do you good.

Would definitely stop here again even though wasn't a fan of Patong.
