Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hotel has a travel agency, from where you can book tours and ferries to Phi Phi island.

Booking through Agoda was a lot cheaper than other travel sites.
Shopping Tip:
Bargain for everthing you buy. Try to go during the low season preferably April. You can enjoy your holidays at half the cost compared to when you go during peak season.

Do not rent a bike in Phuket. The traffic there is terrible. I had an accident while riding a bike. If you have driven a bike in places like Penang or Jakarta, then you are okay.

Must be downgraded to maximum three stars! Looks rundown. Be careful with the Deluxe Spa rooms with your own Jacuzzi. (Wow.) You get no privacy as you are one meter behind the main spa pool area. The spa pool bar is playing (bad and loud) music and everyday the same CD and are not willing to change.
Travel tip:
If you still choose this one and you search a quiet pool area then go to the little pool in the residential area across the main lobby.

They give you vouchers for 10% discount at certain places around the hotel including the spa in the same road. We went here for a massage one day-little bit more than on the streets but you're treated like royalty-was wonderful!
Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant just a few minutes walk from this hotel-down the street and to the right next to the place with jungle decor. It's also an internet cafe-it did the best pizzas we found in the whole of thailand-worth a try is the thought of another rice dinner is turning your stomach!
