Pretty Expensive for what you get

Pretty borderline stay for the money. My check-in was a fiasco as the Staff had no idea I had booked with Agoda the night before for a quick trip to visit with friends on the island. It took 25 or more minutes and an escalation to the Manager to get checked in. The hotel is on a steep parcel of land and despite the desk stating my room was close to the lobby, it was a pretty good haul up many seperate flights of stairs to my room. The room was pretty nice but not sure if the pool and sea view was worth the pretty hefty price per night to stay here. The Mango Daqueries at happy hour were the high point of the stay. You will get free lifts around the complex and the buggys seemed to be running without too much wait but you will have to pay if you want rides to and from Patong. Didn't eat breakfast, but lunch was pretty average at best. Staff had limited English speaking ability. I only stayed here to be colocated with my friends for the night before they flew out and they were not very complimentary about the hotel or staff either. For this much, I would not stay here again.
