The hotel is located in Kata beach, about 40 minutes from Phuket Airport, 650BHT for a taxi ride. I got a great deal through the Agoda website 40%off . Just go across to the Internet cafe and make your reservation there. The walk to the beach is about 10min, you have a choice of 2 beaches , one to the left and one to the right. The Spa is a rip off even with the 40% discount they offer. Clean place, excellent value for the money, nice pool and fitness room. Across the street there is a great little Italian restaurant Sorrento, with excellent prices fresh Thai and Italian food, cold beer, Italian Wines and an enormous menu. The owners Fabio and Gerrado are there every night, tell them that Mario from Hawaii recommended the place and they will take care of you. They have the best of both worlds a Thai chef that worked in Italy for 4 years. I highly recommend the place, I ate there every day and everything was fabulous.
The hotel is quiet, great for families or solo travelers. If you wanna party catch a Tuk Tuk to Patong beach and you are in sin city in 10 minutes, about 400BHT one way. They where renovating the rooms in September 08.

The hotel is very attractive and its' location is better for travelers who want to get away from it all. Patong Beach has more nightlife and most activities such as elephant trekking, white water rafting, or boat cruises are, at minimum, a half hour away. So for the active traveler it might be better to choose a different hotel. For those who want a quiet beach with modest shopping and restaurants, this hotel is a good value.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be aware that for most activities the hotel is about an hour away.
