Location isn't bad. Not too far from the beach and center of Karon
You need to wait to take a cart to the room but this can be also good
If you have pool side room, it is like to have own swimming pool. Location is convient but it is better to rent a bike to go to nearby areas.
Breakfast is not great but ok. It is quite place and if you are looking for relaxing holiday, it is great place to go.

The breakfast was endless and the service was excellent. They went out of their way to greet you and say hello.
I tried to cash a traveler check at the facility and even though they had a sign posted showing the rates and certificate for money exchange, they refused to cash even a $50 US American Express travelers check.
The people were very friendly and professional. I was very impressed with the facility and especially the complementary breakfast. These folks really had something for everyone. Also, the pool had features for children. There is no question, when I return to Phuket, I will be staying at Diamond Cottage Resort and Spa. You are walking distance from almost everything including the beach.
Restaurant Tip : Several of the excellent seafood restaurants are located within 4 blocks of the facility.

Rooms authentic Thai -adequate .Great location.
The pool turned my blonde hair green - obviously too much chlorine - blondes beware !!
My partner and my 13 yr old and myself stayed at Emerald Resort for 4 days. It's around 15 min by scooter into Patong.Karon is a great place to stay if you don't want to stay in busy Patong. Outside the resort are enough great restaurants to dine out in so you don't have to dine at the resort restaurants every nite. It's situated on a hill in the middle of town and around 10 min scooter away from the beach. Service friendly.Gardens beautiful. Would recommend it to couples and families with young or teenage children.
Restaurant Tip : You must hire a scooter it's a cheap and efficient way to get around . Tuk tuks are really expensive.
All local restaurants are great value for money.

good location, great pools, good breakfast, big rooms, welcome vouchers
good location 10 min walk to either kata or karon beach. stayed in spa wing room, budget rooms, are very big. upper pool is with slide, kids love it. breakfast buffet was good and the stroll up to the restaurant burns the calories you will take in ;-)but you can get a ride with the golf cart if it's too far for you.you get extra beach towels.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : there is a 30baht local bus into phuket town if you want to get away from the tourist spot.

Friendly staff, traditionally decorated rooms, lovely pool, good breakfast, 5min to Karon and Kata beaches and an oasis in the desert of hassle!
Room smells a bit musty when you 1st walk in.
This hotel was excellent value for money in a lovely location away from all the hustle and hassle of Patong although it was still evident in Karon. We extended our stay here by an extra 3 days (must be done online to get the cheap agoda rates). Hotel also has bikes to hire at the going rate. Be careful, but bikes are a good way to see the island.
Restaurant Tip : If you hire a bike or car, stop at one of the many roadside food stalls that don't seem to be much at all. We had our best meal in Thailand at one of these for less than £1 for 2 of us.

Good location, nice pool, friendly staff and proper breakfast.
Wifi connection signal in room 312 to 318 is too low for comfort. Especially considering it costs 200 baht for 120 mins
Value for money. Good location, nice pool, friendly staff> Room is clean, large and has most requirements for a 4-star hotel except a safety locker box in the room. Only available at reception. Nice pools and good breakfast.

Location close to two very good beaches, calm atmosphere, good service, polite staff, good breafast
a lil far from Patong's nightlife, not many eating places around, does not actually overlook the sea
We checked in for 4 nights and would definitely recommend it for someone to just relax in a calm atmosphere. The hotel is about 15 mins drive from Patong which in itself is both good and bad. Good because you can relax and chill out and two very lovely beaches (Kata & Karon), Bad because you need to make a longish drive to get to the night spots. The hotel in itself is very good, great service and the range at breakfast buffet is more than adequate. The staff is very polite and helpful while the whole set up of the hotel is very good. It has two sets of pools which are maintained regularly and adequate spaces if you want to catch the sun at the pool. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location between Kata and Karon beach and excellent SPA. The walk to the new wing is around the backside of the old wing instead of through the garden, not thought out very well. The rooms are OK. The rooms in the old wing are more run down, but make up for it because of more thai styling. The rooms in the new wing are modern, but lack of the thai styling. Staff had set us in the wrong room (their mistake), and made up for it by upgrading us to an even better room the next day. So that's all right.
Hotel Feature Tip : Do try the SPA.

- very good location, between two beaches - Karon and Kata
- clean rooms
- two swimming pools
- delicious breakfasts
It was my best holiday ever (August 2009), I strongly reccomend this hotel to young people but also to families with children. Althought it was raining season we've enjoyed sunny days. The location is very good.

The Pool access for us was superb.
Choice of three pools.
Adjoining balconies with childrens room.
Relaxed atmosphere
Friendly and helpful staff
Fresh delicious food
Tastefully decorated rooms and bathrooms.
Buffet breakfast
Water slide.
Good location.
They are hard to come by.
Probably the steep walk and our room was at the back.
If we had a lift more frequently to the stairs it would have been better but we were only offered a lift twice on the golf cart.
A little tour of the place to let us know where everything is.
We were not leaving until the evening 7pm so after we checked out our bags were left in the open lobby until then.I would have preferred a lock up room away from everyone.
Bar should be open in the pool no one came to poolside had to request room service and then try to listen out for the door to get food drink to then return to the pool.
We arrived at the Diamond cottage resort around 11.30 am After 12 hours of travelling by boat and bus from one of the islands. We had a shower slipped into our hotel robes and had a drink on our balcony and a dip in the pool.It was the perfect way to end our hectic travels over the past three week just to unwind and relax Our teenage children had the room next door and we could unlock our balcony doors and share the space and company. The rooms were spacious tastefully decorated with everything we could wish for..We had lunch in one of the many restaurants. The food was superb and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It is in a great location about a five minute walk from the beach and surrounded by many shopping opportunities bars and restaurants. After each outing we returned to the haven of our resort swim and relax.I had service poolside for drinks suprised by the ammount of people who attended breakfast because our whole stay was very quiet and didn't seem to be so many people there but there was.We had been staying in some prety basic accomodations throughout our travels but wanted to end somewhere nice and the luxury of the diamond cottage resort was more than we could have hoped for.We all highly recommend it.

Good euquipment, polite personel
Very good hotel, but AGODA gives wrong information on the map, concerning the place that the hotel is situated. The hotel is between the Kata beach and the Karon beach. It is not a bad place but is wrong information. Generally the hotel was good and could have the four stars category instead of three and a half.

Swimminmg pool area lovely, rooms clean and tidy. Good location. staff extremeely helpful!
Only thing was the food was not great.
The Hotel was very nice and well worth the money. Pool area nice and clean. Staff were extremely helpful upon arrival and departure. The only disappointment would be the food but having said that would definately stay again and just not eat at hotel, it was overpriced!

Good front office staff , and good swimming pool
Steep walk up the hotel entrance, over priced Spa . Two wings in the hotel - the lower priced one has depressing wall colour ( Green ). & very ordinary bath area
The hotel reviews on all sites were great - but most of them are for the new wing . The standard pool facing room is a old wing with lower standard rooms - Had we known we would have paid more & taken the new wing - but no website or hotel"s own web site will tell you this .
The location is a 5 minute walk to the Karon Beach .
Hotel gives a 10 Minute free massage coupon on check in - but if you do not plan to pay for additional appointment - you will never be given a slot for this 10 minute, .
Nothing in particular that is bad abou the the place , just an ordinary stay.
Restaurant Tip : On right of hotel ( while coming out ) at approx 50 meters there is a open air garden style restaurant, good food & live band. worth a meal
