Pillows too hard

One of the best holels to stay at for it's price and location to patong for shopping or the beach. 3 pools, Gym complete with day spa treatments and soon to be kids club, currently being built for completion in december 09 and all on 30 acres Have stayed twice and would stay again, it keeps getting better.

Quiet, great pools

Couldn't find any.

This was the second time I stayed at Duangjitt and I was even happier than the first. On arrival I was told we had been upgraded from deluxe garden view to deluxe pool view. The room was sensational, so roomy and comfortable. The resort is so quiet and feels like you're nowhere near patong, but as soon as you stroll out the front gates, you can hit the markets or the beach immediatly... that's if you can drag yourself from the pool.

Nice Pool, Decent Location

Construction, Terrible Internet,

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel during a working vacation for me. Things started off okay when they allowed her to check in before me even though my name was on the reservation. Unfortunately the room had the old style turn-key locks and we were only given 1 key. This proved to be a problem while I had to leave for work and she was pretty muched pinned in the room so I wouldn't be locked out when I returned. Also we reserved the higher end "Villa" but it seemed our friends in the pool view rooms had much nicer accomodations. The tub/shower/toilet were all in one room that had a "shower" style glass door that didn't run from floor to cieling. Very little privacy at all. We paid 1200 baht to have internet for 3 days and were only able to get my laptop to connect once or twice during our entire stay and it was very slow when it was working, our friends in another room had the same issues. I would say if you went with the garden or pool view room this place would be alright if you weren't planning on spending too much time in the room, otherwise I would look elsewhere.

location

slow internet

I had reserved 2 rooms over the same time period and this standard room was the 2nd room. This room was actually pretty nice, better than the move exspensive villa actually. Hotel location is okay in relation to patong beach. The internet was exspensive and pretty much useless. This would be an alright place to stay if you're not planning on spending the majority of your time at the hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff - from security, reception, restaurant and especially the porters.

Cannot think of any

From the moment our Bus driver turned into our Phuket resort we were memorized by the sheer size of the complex the beautiful "Duangjitt Resort & Spa". Although we only stayed a short time, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duangjitt. We felt very safe and everything you needed was at hand. The food was excellent and your staff friendly and very helpful. We were taking my widow sister on a much needed holiday and she was just blown away and is now ready to face her world. Our experience is a memory we will cherish forever. Thank you so much, we will recommend your resort to all our family and friends.

Quiet yet close to the Beach and Shopping. Swimming Pools. Clean Fresh Rooms.

Bad Plumbing.

Checked in and meet Friends there. Swimming Pools are very Big and Clean. Staff Pleasant and Helpful. My only complaint is the Plumbing. First Night 4am somehow the Aircon started Pouring Out the Smell of Sewage!!! We had to turn it off and open all the Doors and Windows! Next day changed Our Rooms to another upstairs which was Great apart from the Shower which had Poor Pressure and ran Hot and Cold inconsistently? Everything else in the Hotel was Great.

Restaurant Tip : A load of Bars and Restaurants within Walking Distance with Good Food and Drinks at Good Prices.

Great Pools,3 to choose from. Staff very friendly and always willing to help.Rooms always clean.

Hotel mattress were a little hard for my likeing.

My stay at the Duangjitt Resort was Great for my first time to Phuket. What i liked about the place was it was a 2 min walk to the beach it was right out the front of the markets which were on most nights, we were round the corner of the O Top markets and everything else was close buy and after you have had enought of shopping the friendly staff were only to happy to put you in one of their golf carts and take you back to your room where you could sit outside your hotel room over looking the pool with a quiet drink in hand.

Resort Spa, Reception Staff, Main pool was massive and very clean

was experience in off season and felt that the Resort was running on a bare bones approach but still busy enough to make it relaxing & special

Was not really looking for a place that an Army of kids runnign around and thankfully at the low season we did not encounter this. But as low season felt that things were being run close to the bone. No real shortcoming's but the extra special touches that you expect were not there IE large flower displays in reception, that we saw at other hotels while in Phuket. Really good location to the beach, but far enough away from the main part of the beach not to be distracted. After you enter the gates it really is away from everything but in a good way.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Phuket has a lot going on for it away from the Hotel's so take a tour out to Phi Phi well worth it stay away from the long boats and go with speed boats, you get to see more. Talk to others about Simon Cabaret & Phantasia heard mixed reports and decided not to go don't feel that we missed out at all.

nice room, clean bathroom, spacious room, nice view, good service at reception

a long walk from the entrance to the hotel, a bit too far to walk from the room to reception and breakfast area, limited buffet breakfast spread. friedly and helpful housekeeping staff

checking in and checking out was a breeze. a very nice atmosphere and a well kept and nice natural garden. staff were friendly and helpful.it would be much better if the staff driving the golf buggies to ferry you to the rooms were seen to be more cheerful. generally my stay here had been very pleasant. will recommend friends to stay here

Restaurant Tip : try out the local seafood at linda's seafood as you come in to patong. good food at reasonable prices.

Good location, Patong is one the most lively beaches in Phuket Reasonable prices in mini bar Spacious rooms

Pool is closes soon Not many options for eating and drinking inside the hotel Rooms not very clean

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and we have been disappointed but quite a few points. Rooms are spacious but not very clean, breakfast is average at best. But it's stil good value for the money and Patong beach is one the best places to stay in Phuket (but forget about the beach itself which is horrible, rent bikes and go south for beautiful sandy beach).

fantastic resort

you need to walk a lot

We really enjoyed our 3 days there. It's right next to Patong Beach, restaurants, but at the very end of patong beach, so if you want to go somewhere else, you need to walk a lot. Room was very clean and nice, staff was awesome. Definitely great value for money !! Restaurant was nicely priced and pools were clean. Recommanded !!

Nightlife Tip : Try Thai massage in nearby shops (the hotel spa is super expensive) and Simon Cabaret ! ALso, negociate hard your trips, you can get 30-40% off everything in street tourist booth.

Beautiful grounds, courteous staff, and clean rooms. Location is great and is quite peaceful at night.

The key cards need to be in the slot for the aircon to stay on, no more paper in the slot to fix it.

Everytime I have stayed in Phuket it has been at the Duangjitt Hotel. The have good food, great staff, and clean rooms. The offer many services and will help arrange trips in their tour shop. The breakfast hours could be extended, and more variety offered. But I would not stay anywhere else, all my experiences here have been great. My wife loves it their and that's what counts.
