nice room, clean bathroom, spacious room, nice view, good service at reception
a long walk from the entrance to the hotel, a bit too far to walk from the room to reception and breakfast area, limited buffet breakfast spread. friedly and helpful housekeeping staff
checking in and checking out was a breeze. a very nice atmosphere and a well kept and nice natural garden. staff were friendly and helpful.it would be much better if the staff driving the golf buggies to ferry you to the rooms were seen to be more cheerful. generally my stay here had been very pleasant. will recommend friends to stay here
Restaurant Tip : try out the local seafood at linda's seafood as you come in to patong. good food at reasonable prices.

Good location, Patong is one the most lively beaches in Phuket
Reasonable prices in mini bar
Spacious rooms
Pool is closes soon
Not many options for eating and drinking inside the hotel
Rooms not very clean
We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and we have been disappointed but quite a few points. Rooms are spacious but not very clean, breakfast is average at best. But it's stil good value for the money and Patong beach is one the best places to stay in Phuket (but forget about the beach itself which is horrible, rent bikes and go south for beautiful sandy beach).

We really enjoyed our 3 days there. It's right next to Patong Beach, restaurants, but at the very end of patong beach, so if you want to go somewhere else, you need to walk a lot. Room was very clean and nice, staff was awesome. Definitely great value for money !! Restaurant was nicely priced and pools were clean. Recommanded !!
Nightlife Tip : Try Thai massage in nearby shops (the hotel spa is super expensive) and Simon Cabaret ! ALso, negociate hard your trips, you can get 30-40% off everything in street tourist booth.

Beautiful grounds, courteous staff, and clean rooms. Location is great and is quite peaceful at night.
The key cards need to be in the slot for the aircon to stay on, no more paper in the slot to fix it.
Everytime I have stayed in Phuket it has been at the Duangjitt Hotel. The have good food, great staff, and clean rooms. The offer many services and will help arrange trips in their tour shop. The breakfast hours could be extended, and more variety offered. But I would not stay anywhere else, all my experiences here have been great. My wife loves it their and that's what counts.

Very large size room. Spotless and huge bathroom. Very good location on Patong beach for shopping and restaurant. The resort is very quiet once you are in the resort despite all the activities on Patong beach.
Breakfast food selection is limited. Customer service at the hotel is very average for a hotel/resort at this price.
We stayed at this resort from 1/4/09 to 1/8/09 and was pleased with the room size and the cleanliness of the huge bathroom. The tiled floor was immaculate. They even provided free water bottles each day. However, we were disappointed with customer service at front desk. One day we were waiting for an excursion pickup that was late, we asked the front desk to contact the tour operator since we don't speak Thai. The front desk staff informed us that the local call would cost 45 THBs which we found ridiculous. For the price we paid at this hotel per night, they could not even make a free local call for us.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : - If you don't like crowds, stay away from Patong beach. Beaches in Phuket are average unless you go to more remote locations.
- Simon cabaret show is overrated.
- Excursion to Phang Nga bay is great and worth the time.

The fact that the hotel was quiet and beautiful. The great pools they have & their most friendly staff!
The location being near Patong
When you have been to Patong and leave the hustle and bustle and bad smell of the busy streets, and you enter the grounds to the Duangjitt Hotel, it is like entering into a different world: Suddenly you hear birds singing, you breathe fresh air, see beautiful flowers and garden.
There is 36 acres of land at the resort. Must be the biggest in Patong. That is why you don't feel close to the busy part of Patong. If you want to go there for shopping, dining or anything else, it takes only a few minutes.
Besides, the rooms are clean, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, the breakfast buffet has a variety of food including freshly made omelets, fresh fruits, cereals, bread, Thai breakfast and more.
The are 3 wonderful pools, and beside one of them you can get massages at only 500 Bath for one hour.
They also have a newly opened big Spa, and if you book a treatment there, they make sure that they include all of your senses in the treatment. I had a facial and it was an amazing experience. You can get treatments cheaper elsewhere in Patong, but here you go directly to the 7th heaven.
If I ever go back to Patong, I'd stay here again.

Three swimming pools, good environment, and nice service.
You will be served a cup of grape juice when arrived. You can see smiling faces every where. It's near the beach and not too noisy. There are three swimming pools in the hotel. You can be relaxed and lie on the chair all day long. You can also find three lovely cats enjoying the sunshine.

Location of this hotel is close from the beach and very convenient. Hotel is surrounded by green and the room is clean and comfortable.
I had spa treatment at this hotel. They provide therapy in a private cottage and it's truly relaxing. Their head massage was so great!

Grounds are incredible, there are 3 pools and there is a Spa onsite.
Doing some renovations on a few buildings so you may be in a building next to construction.
The grounds are wonderful and the staff very friendly. The rooms are spacious for the price. They were doing some upgrades to the resort while we were there so there were a few buildings under construction. We had a few things in our room which had been newly updated not working but the staff was VERY responsive. The service was great. They even have a full gym which was nice to have and if you want to pamper yourself try one of their wonderful Spa treatments. If you need to leave the resort you are only a block away from the beach and close to the center of Patong.

Big pool, very nice and helpful personnel, near the beach and shopping, big breakfest buffet.
The hotel's location is in a very good place. It´s near the beach but it´s also near shopping areas (the main street in Patong beach and Bangla road). The hotel has a big breakfest buffet with all kind of different foods. The hotel is big so you do have to walk a bit to get out but that is also very good because you don´t notice the noice from clubs and cars. The hotel has a big pool and many sunchairs. You also can get massage by the pool so that is very nice. I´m very pleased with my stay there!

1. Right on the Patong beach
2. in the middle of the Happening joints
3. plenty of Green areas
4. well kept pools
5. nice meals
1. huge property, not very well kept
2. taxi services charge more in Patong zone.
Duangjitt enjoys excellent location in all of phuket.
Staff is helpful, though majority of Thais don't speak english well.
Room service is also great.
had a problem in the shower room water drainage, was rectified in 10 minutes.
Bed/mattesses, linen, TV, room carpet area all good.
Enjoyed the stay.

Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, well looked after place although it lacks facilities ie more restaurants or even at least a bar. Other than that the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable.
The staff definitely needs training in friendliness, service skills and of course language / speech coaching because who speaks Thai with the western guests? The breakfast definitely needs an improvement because you can't call it neither an American nor European breakfast....rather Thai breakfast! They don't offer a taxi service (unless you are willing to pay an extra of 300 Baht - The price for the taxi from the airport to Patong should not be higher than 500 Baht !)
Very convenient near to beach (5 min. walk) and Bangla street and shopping. Surrounding, new and well-kept. Hotel should charge a cheaper rate for internet. Duangjitt Resort should offer a better evening live performance. The band they offer does not make the people want to stay! The Hotel should continue with the in room dining promotion of 50 percent discount or else guests will look for cheaper alternatives along the beach front.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A must: Go to Phi Phi for at least one night!
