This resort deserves a look if you want quiet and out of the way. Of course that comes with a price, like water costing five times the amount from the bar than the 1km walk down to the seven eleven. The Muey Thai boxing booked out of the hotel is worth a night out, but VIP seats not necessary as the areana is small unless you want to get sweat on! Bottom line, nice location, needs some major upgrades on the little things, it is starting to show it's age. Breakfast buffet very comprehensive.

Private island and beach were remote and quiet...very good fish viewing. Infinity pool in the sunshine was very relaxing. The "into the Med" restaurant was spectacular

This hotel is beginning to show it's age, it has the feeling of a time share condo development turned resort. The walk down to the restaurants on the water is a bit "back roads" and it is time to replace the cushion covers on everything...

• Shopping Tip : Heading out of the hotel turn left on the main road and walk 500-600 m to the seven eleven. This should be your first trip for water, happy hour drinks, snacks etc. Each room at the hotel has a balcony which is nice to sit on for happy hour, but you will be much happier about happy hour if you buy your drinks from the local seven eleven at 1/4 the price!

• Restaurant Tip : Laguna resturant about 1km south from resort on left hand side, open from 7pm for dinner. Very good.

The hotel is very quiet, and it is good for couples.

The Thai restaurant was very good but a more international / seafood restaurant located on the beach, whilst being a beautiful location, the food and service were not up to the same standard. A good breakfast buffet.
