New Hotel, not cheap but amazing pool deck view

Booked through agoda an hour earlier but hotel had no idea about my booking. A quick overnight stay in the hotel. In the morning found view to be the back of the next block down which was not nice. However the roof top pool view was simply stunning. Shame they skimped on items like putting down fake grass on the flooring and access to the top deck was quite drap. Overall, a nice nice but will wear quickly like all "design" products in the region.

a bit hard to enter the hotel site.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so not to hope for a nightlife in walking distance.
The hotel is laid on the hill, so stairs are common, so prepare for sweat. Not suitable to elderly or people with disabilities.

I have to say that my good empression about Thailand is because of Foto Hotel. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. Although the location is a bit far away from the beach and we have to walk a peak to the hotel, the facilities, the design and the swimming pool are worth for you to choose.

Very nice hotel and good service. No elevator so if you don't mind walking to your room you are good to go. The hotel is built on the side of a hill. If you do not like walking the staff will be more than happy to drive you to your room in a golf cart.

Very nice hotel in genereal. The only thing that you may not like if you are lazy is that there is no elevator because it is built on a hill. All you have to do is call the reception and they will pick you up in a golf cart though.

Bad location and hard to move in the hotel

It's in the Karon beach but you should walk up about 15min from the beach to the hotel and the way to go is very hard. There's so high hill to go to this hotel. They have only 4 times shuttle bus(it was not a bus. Just like a truck-bus or tuktuk.) services. We always walked.
We checked into the room at the 4th floor but it's hard to get to the room from the lobby, too. You should take a cart and go down to the room- also very high hill. Everytime we want to go to the room or the lobby, we should call the cart and had to have a thrilled experience. Hotel room was okay and staff was kind. However I cannot recommend this hotel because of the location and the cart. Breakfast was too expensive. (600B per person)
Hotel Feature Tip:
Everything in the room was free. Fruit, snacks, and sodas. You should grab the handle tightly when you use the cart. It's very dangeorous.
