Lance V. Couples South Africa, March 16, 2013	The G-1 is Ok, nothing great The high speed internet 3 The G-1 has a lot of potential. The staff do not speak English at all, there are roadworks in the street that the G-1 is located so access is not easy. It would have been nice if we had been informed of this before check in. There are no night staff, just a security guard who is sweet but speaks even less English than the rest of the staff. The rooms are new but the cleaning staff don't clean that well and all in all I wouldn't recommend the G-1 to anyone.

Couples Russia, February 28, 2013	Good apartments but unfriendly staff Comfortable bed, pretty design 5.7 Location: very dirty surroundings (several construction sites nearby, at the moment they reconstruct water pipes, so all the road is destroyed). But very convenient: 7-eleven, Ohlala cafe and Ohlala cheap motorbike rental are located at the crossroad. It takes quite long time to get to the beach. Room: peasant design, quite spacious, very comfortable bed. Pleasant small rooftop pol. But: bad water in pipe has strong metal smell, everything in bathroom gets rusty. Staff: this is the main drawback. We had read other reviews before booked the room, and it is really annoying. We don't understand why the boss cannot find more proper staff. Lazy, unattentive... Anyway, it is hard to find anything much better at Kamala for this price. Restaurant Tip: We highly recommend Ohlala cafe. Their chef makes perfect Thai dishes and - pleasant surprise! - very good and even sophisticated European food.
