I stayed in deluxe room #504. Greately recommend it as it has additional sitting -room with a sofa, a lot of electrical sockets so a lot of equipment can be charged simultaneously. very close to the beach - really not more than 5 min walk,just the middle of a long Karon beach. The breakfast was good, not 2 much fruit, but i was never hungry, and it was different everyday. In fact i liked the hotel very much, I even prolonged my stay for 2 more days.

the hotel is very clean and quite , it was very close on the karon beach about 3 min that you can arrived , you must by taxi go to other side , it is very quite place at the night nothing pub over there

Great clean and modern hotel in a quiet location
Quiet away from road, yet only 2 min walk to beach

Great little hotel to stay, with a very short walk to the beach and away from the road. Restaurant and massage choice is huge in the area. Karon town is about a 5-10 min walk for more restaurants, tour desk and shopping options.
The only gripe was the breakfast was a little limited in hot food selection (westerner choices), and instant coffee was only available.
However, very good selection of local fruits, breads, muffin/danishes and cereal.
Would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants a nice quiet comfortable Hotel with modern amenities.

Great location and very friendly staff

I stayed for a week at Grand Sunset Hotel. I enjoyed every minute. The sunsets from the rooftop pool are the best I've seen. The beach is very close and if you want to rent a scooter and feel like a short walk, go down the street for about ten minutes and you can get the best deal in Phuket.

Good for relaxing, rooms are clean and modern but small.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very average each morning, no shade areas at the pool, no room service.. Facilities very basic. This area is overpriced compared to patong

Clean, new, very friendly. Free wi-fi, free laptops in lobby.

Rooms are small, air conditioner doesn't cool below 80F, room could use a fan. Rooftop pool has no shade and bar is mostly unattended. Breakfast is free, but limited choices and they run out of some items (bacon....). Shower is horrible design, always get a blast of cold water. Bathroom is small. Heavy glass doors are awkward. Room lights can be turned off from the bed (+). There is no light above the desk, and no desk chair provided. Hotel sign is hard to read from the street.
Hotel is in a row with other hotels, 2 restaurants, 2 massage places, a local trip agency, & a tailor.
No laundry service.
No room service.
Housekeeping schedule is unpredictable, one day they missed me completely.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk to the next row north - The Old Phuket - for a variety of places to eat.

For its price this hotel is excellent. Low-key entry etc but friendly, terrific room (though faced best way onto green field and hills with beach view on balcony). Pool small but good. Did not have breakfast deal. Easy enough to eat out. But avoid Phuket in July - no sun and lots of rain.
