Nice Hotel with good rooms
Close to the cemter and not a long walk to the beach

A good place to stay but there is constraction site close by that disturbes until it is done whoch should not take that long. With out that a good value for money

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hemingway's Hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room was immaculate. The massive shower head and unlimited hot water was an indulgent luxury (although the bathroom turns into a bit of a lake... it's worth it). It's a 5 minute walk to Bangla Road and the Mall. You might opt for a tuk tuk to the beach on a hot day. There was construction going on next door all day, every day, but unless you're looking to sleep away your days, the disruption is minimal. I'd definitely stay here again!

Staff are so accommodating and friendly. Value of price and rooms are ok! But one thing breakfast didnt change.. the same food were served from day 1 to the last day of our stay.

Hotel is located just nicely, near the shopping mall & other shopping areas. Near also to the famous bangla road. Price is just reasonable and the room is quite ok. Staffs are all accomodating.

If you can't find anything else..

staff ok. location a couple of hundred meter away from jungceylon shopping mall. quite heavy traficated road to cross near hotel; be aware. room ok finish, a bit dark. balcony door badly sound proof making sound from neighbours disturbing, not specially recommended if you are into a good nights sleep.
we had room 408, my girlfriend got bitten by bedbugs. room cleaning is not really good. would look for another hotel, but ok enough for a short stay this time.

Stayed there for 2 nights, love the big rooms!! very nice & clean room. But poor service. First day, we had to sit in the restaurant for more than 20 minutes before they found out that we supposed to have breakfast together with the rooms! So, we couldn't finish the breakfast because the driver had arrived. Second day, order 4 menus, but only 2 turned up. Again we couldn't finish the breakfast (They gave us take away though). I don't think they have a good understanding of English
