We initially booked a sea-view standard room but got upgraded to Sea-View Deluxe because we informed them in advance our wedding anniversary. Cafe Cino does a really good pannini's.
Staff seems smiling and friendly but the services are a little bit slack. Our travel agency faxed us a document one day which we required for next morning but the hotel failed to deliver it to our room. When i called the operator told us that the doc has been delivered to our room and was told that we should look for it in the room. Next day when we returned from our day trip the faxed doc was on our bed....
We also asked for late check out on the last day but somehow they forgot about it so we could not get in to our room after 2pm and took over 30 mins for someone to come and sort it out...FOr a band named hotel such as Hilton i look for more perfection. The late check out cost us 2300 baht which seems a little bit pricey.
Overall we were satisfied with our stay at Hilton and i would recommend my friends to stay their if they are looking to have a quiet time on the beach and maybe one or two night outs in Patong. The services seem fairly decent but some improvements can be made. Especially, when they carry a name like Hilton it's the little things that makes a lot of difference.
Nightlife Tip : Between Karon Beach and Patong the Taxi drivers ask you for 400 baht but you should only pay 300 baht.

Good surroundings and kind people.
Not responded to my email enquiry and not prepared the room before we arrived at 4 pm.
There are flies in the restaurant.
The location and surroundings of the hotel are super, which gave us a quiet enjoyment of our vocation at Phuket. We appreciate the kindness and politeness of the staff, who I think must undergo quality training of Hilton.
Before I went I wrote an email to make sure whether adapter is available in the room. I got the acknowledgement of the enquiry immediately after the sending, but never got response. It's a pity.
I checked out early at 5am, the staff on duty are very quick finishing it.
Travel tip :
If drive by yourself, Choose Road402 to go to airport, which is the shortest route. Do avoid Patong's congestion.

The Ambiance Was Very Nice.Tram From Parking Area To Main Building For Security Purpose.Safety Tip Top.Feel Safe.
It Is Far If You Walk From Parking Area To Hotel. But They Provide Tram.
Hilton Is Very Nice Hotel To Stay. We Decided To Stay On Our Last Night Because We Know They Provide Baby Sitting Services. At First We Taught It Is Free But We Are Charged 200 Bath Per Hour. But Don't Compromise About The Safety And Well Being Of Your Kids. They Are Very Professional. As We Can't Make It To Have Breakfast At The Hotel, They Even Provide Breakfast Box For Us.At Least We Are Not Hungry. You Need To Request For That. The Staffs Are Also Friendly.Price Are Quite High.

Good food, very polite, nice pools, clean and big rooms.
The hotel provides great possibilities for family and private vacation. Nice and big rooms, good choice of food and beautiful park and gardens around. All these features provide the atmosphere of tropical eden.

Good and very well assorted breakfast. They clean and make up your room 2-3 times a day. Close to the beach.
High price for low value. Build as a tourist trap, as everything is expensive (shopping, drinks and food) and there's a far way to go to find alternatives. They won't call normal taxies for you, as there's no commision. A bit worn out. No normal pools (for exercising). You need gym shoes to use exercising facilities.
I would definately not recommend this hotel and I can assure you I'm NEVER going back there!
In fact I've seen 5 star hotel promotions at less than 60$, so I expected a LOT more. The rooms were decent, though for the price, grossly under par. The prices of drinks and food are, just as the hotel itself, much higher than normal (some drinks more than 500% price) and since the Area is so big, you end up walking 20 minutes to go somewhere that's NOT Hilton, to buy anything. In fact it's far from just about anything but loads of charter tourists from Europe and so I heard more people speak Swedish and Danish, than Thai!
The place has been constructed for just such tourists and for anyone that lives in Thailand, it's obviously a bad choice, which is evident from the sheer lack of local guests . . .
DON'T go there, simply because there are MUCH better hotels at a FAR lower price . . .

Beautiful room, very clean, excellent view of the ocean even though you have to walk across the street to the beach. Staff is very friendly.
Walls are very thin. We could hear people above us & beside us walking & closing drawers, etc. Food is good, but pricey. Talk a walk down Beach road & eat anywhere along there instead.
I would definately recommend staying at the Hilton Arcadia Phuket. The price wasn't bad for a nice Hilton, but you could stay elsewhere for less. Remember that you get what you pay for though. The room & view was beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly & was very helpful with anything we needed. Everyone speaks English, so no problems there. I would only eat the breakfast included here though. Food is good, but expensive & you can get good food just down the street.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Check out Phi Phi Islands, whether you dive or just snorkel. But take the speedboat. Definately worth it!

1. Flexibility of Check-out time
My flight schedule was around 9:00 PM but Hotel extended check out time around 5:00 PM without any additional charge.
2. Korean Employees
Hotel hired Korean employees. They're very kind, and also it was very helpful in certain cases.
3. Close to Patong
It took around 20 min to Patong, and it was very convenient.
1. Expensive for little stuffs.
I have to pay several hundreds THBs for domestic toll-free call.
2. Transportation near the hotel to Patong is too expensive. I suggests hotel run a shuttle to Paton regularly.
Generally, every thing of the Hotel was quite good, except a couple of things that I mentioned above.
I visited same hotel around 10 years ago.
The building was OK by re-modeling, but the room was not as new as the one at that time.
Travel tip : Never go to "Thi-Thi restaurant" in hotel for dinner.
You already there??, Never order "Tiger Prawn"!!

Near Patong beach, very beautiful view.
We stayed here for two days. The hotel upgraded our room to seaview room freely and let us enjoy the nice view. The balcony faces the sea and we really enjoyed the sunset here. This is the most romantic moment for couple. The room is comparably cheap, and the service is very nice. The restaurants nearby are also very nice. If you have time, you can swim in the hotel pools. There are several pools, and all of them are great. Totally this hotel is worth your money.

Overall decent hotel especially good in location to a person who want to get away from hustle of life.
Staff performance need to be improved, hotel seems to be bit too aged.
Pleasent stay in King plus 62sqm lotus wing ocean view overall. Hotel is surrounded by nice green in backyard and wide ocean in front. Room was kept in neat and clean. Staff performance need to be improved at breakfast buffet(some smile will be nice). Swimming pools were ok considering there are 4 different locations.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try Bann Rim Pa, a Thai cusine in upper Patong, cost is bit expensive but you will be never disappointed.
(Another tip, always try to discount taxi and tuk-tuk whenever you need ride)

I booked and paid in advance for a Deluxe King Seaview, but upon arrival was told it wasn't ready and in fact they didn't have a king room at all, just twins. No one seemed to think this was a big deal, but after a good thirty minutes of discussion with the desk girls and the manager, they realized it was important to me. Finally the manager relented and graciously agreed to give me free internet access as compensation. Unfortunately I wasted most of the remaining daylight time on my first day there on negotiation and waiting for my room to be ready. I barely got to the pool that day on what I expected to be a half day on the beach. Poor me.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : John Gray Seacanoes are a great time. Also, consider renting a motorbike; it's a blast and a great way to get around (but probably not to Patong at night).

Poor performacne of staff
This hotel is situated near sea shore and thus very good location for holiday.
Also this hotel has a good pool and provide excellent breakfast.
However staff performacne is not so good and it took very long time to check out.
As this hotel is very big and need long distance to go to front desk.
They provide transportation within hotel resort but sometimes it was not easy to access relative transportation.
