really enjoyed this place the decor is beautiful!! breakfast was soo good, were spoilt for choice. The pool was really big and had a good pool with a pool bar. good business centre to use the internet and print documents. Would totally reccommend this place to either families or couples.

Disappointing!

i was very disappointed in this hotel. guest service lacked. we were not provided with keys initially, they were going to bring them to us and never did. when we got them they didn't work, they would only give us one after that. the shower floods the bathroom. beds were terribly uncomfortable, so so so hard! i ordered room service and it took over 40 minutes to come.

I live in Phuket, so I was just looking for some relaxing down time at a resort, near the beach but family oriented. This is a good option if you want a very nice 4star room at a more budget price. Tucked away from the beach at the end of Karon Beach road and a bit up the hill, it is a very quiet and serene atmosphere. Definitely a family-oriented hotel so no late night partying as the pool closes at 8pm. Everyone was very nice. The fitness room is excellent. The kids club is not so great although my 3-year old enjoyed it enough. The playground is a bit small and the indoor play area not worth going into. She still enjoyed playing in the sand there, but definitely for 4 and under.
No free Wi Fi. That is a big downer for those who want internet. The price is quite high. And for those without computers there are only 4 computers at a fairly steep price.
The hotel food was not great and it was double the price in the Orchid Lounge or via room service rather than by the pool, even though the food all comes from the same place. Having said that, if you eat an early supper or late lunch, the pool is the BEST place to do it. They have an excellent happy hour deal of food choices for 99 Baht (3 US dollars) including a personal pizza that my daughter LOVED. They also serve an excellent club sandwich by the pool that could easily be shared by two (180 baht by the pool versus 280 baht at the restaurant/room service).
Our room was very big with two big beds, beautiful bathroom, mini-fridge, good cable television with English, Russian, French, Thai channels and a nice balcony for morning coffee! We got a room right next to the pool. We never actually left the resort!!

the buffet breakfast was fantastic! we stayed in the adults only part of the hotel and i highly recommend it, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the pool and pool bar was great and had 2 happy hours a day. it's not even a 5 min walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. yes there is a tuk tuk service to take you up to the hotel but seriously it's not much of a hill and takes 2 mins to walk!

Nice full service hotel. The staff is always smiling and helpful. Only complaint is rooms have frosted glass wall on bathroom. Potentially embarassing.
Shuttle to the beach is a nice touch!
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurants at the hotel are very nice but there is also a huge selection on the main road nearby. The prices decline as you move away from the main hotels but the quality of the food does not.

minimalistic room, great location right in town

great view from balcony - were on the top floor (5th) - bathroom was outdated but rooms were clean and air conditioner worked fine after you put it on for a few minutes. location was great, right next to the pier and in the middle of "town" - 20 min walk to long beach.
