Friendly staff for whom nothing was too much. Fantastic location close to patong beach and the bars and clubs. Yet the hotel gave the impression you were a million miles away from it all Stunning hotel

Great location with very happy pleasant staff. Renovations being done and not being told and also the pool being out of use. We were very disappointment that there were ongoing renovations and we were not told in advance. We also noticed that there needed a bit of maintenance done on the exterior of the building and this should have been taken into consideration of your pricing. The highlight of our stay was the friendliness of the staff and the locality.
Shopping Tip : Great locality for shopping and all the eateries close by. Very close to the beach and only a short walk to the main street where all the nightlife is.

Good Location, easy access to Patong Beach and to the Nigth Life The staff was very helpfull, most of them speak English quit well. The room was very comfortable, but need more execive cleaning. The breakfast was quite acceptable, I will recomend to add more fresh vegetables and Tropical Fruits. The swimming pool was a little bit Small but it was very usefull during the rainy days. The neiborhood was quite Noise but bearable. The bottom line - it was a goog deal and good value for money. I definetly will recomend to our friends and will book again in the future.
Nightlife Tip : Very good and descent Irish Pub very nearby the hotel

-noisy aircon at room 2286 This hotel has really spoilt my holiday mood . I stayed from 19th Oct to 22nd Oct 09 , encountered rude front office staff and the manager . On my second day of my stay , the housekeeper didn't clean up my room even though I told front office staff before leaving the hotel for my outing. When I came back ,my wife took three towels to exchange with the housekeeper for a fresh one. However , the housekeeper only gave back one fresh towel . As , we are too tired , we just accepted . During the check out , I were told that my room has two shortages of towel and told to pay 500 b . I tried to reason out wbut the two staff never wanted to hear my explanation. I then approached the manager but however he gave me sarcastic remarks . I paid the fine as I am rushing to airport.I am not the only one encountered problems during the stay at Horizon.
Restaurant Tip : Fuji japanese restaurant near Bangla Rd offered affordable and nice food

good location, good staff still a bit renovation going on We arrived hotel morning,we can check in straight away and can go out. no time wasted.Get free upgrade Room without asking. Our room is just few step to the pool...So nice.We are lucky as we checkout,they close our pool for renovation.Still a bit renovation going on here and there. Air-con a bit noisy from bathroom. but is a nice hotel. Try hotel spa is good,can bargain a bit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to go Phuket town, you can go to patong beach to take bus only 25baht one way. If taxi is bout 300baht after bargain.

service really bad, swimming pool very small only for few guest i ask them taxi to airport they do not want to help to call ataxi so that i can use them service which the charge 2 times more then the normal rate, no one help to carry my bag from 2nd floor not lift

Location was good and right smack in the middle of everything. Big rooms and cosy outdoor environment. The customer service needs to be improved.Staff are not rude, but dont expect them to be friendly. Bathrooms a little worn down. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you get your tour packages outside the hotel. You can arrange for airport taxi at the travel counter just outside the hotel for 500 baht.

Close to Beach and Bangla Road As mentioned, stinking, AC leakage Overall it is a good hotel. Response to request was also good. Complained about the a/c leakage. Immdly supervisor attended but no use. it was leaking till the day i left the hotel. Asked for the room change. The wing they took me was stinking and decided to stay. There are better hotels available in the same lane close to beach with much lesser price. try out

Very near to Patong Beach and Bangla Road is also at walking distance. I didnt find anything wrong in this hotel except there is no lift but max floors are ground +2 so still no issue. This is very good hotel and specially rooms are quite comfortable and spacious (if u booked deluxe rooms). Very resonably priced and very quite envoirnment. I really like to stay here. Good value for money
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Got very good bargain for trip to islands for whole day by power boat.

The staff is wonderful and helpful.
The hotel is small but you can meet some lovely people more so than staying in a larger hotel. Some rooms need a little TLC (tender loving care)
Like the one we were upgraded too.
It smelled awful and damp.
Probably has been flooded in the pass seeing it it on ground floor. Needs to be improved. As I said the staff are excellent, from the bottom to the top.
Restaurants lovely, clean and atmosphere great.
Pool is good especially the pool bar.
Travel tip : Shakers is wonderful for food, drinks and they have a band and pool table.
The Banana Phuket two minutes from Horizon is great also.

Great location, nice poolside rooms and great breakfast selection. Food and beverage at the hotel tend to be overpriced - only one pool operational during our visit and bathrooms are tending to show their age. This was our third stay at the hotel and we continue to return due to the great location right in the middle of Patong. Our room was upgraded to a poolside room which was very spacious, although the bathroom could do with renovation. There is usually two pool areas although during this stay one pool was undergoing renovation, hopefully it should be up and running by the time you read this. We will definately stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask at reception for the times of the free shuttle bus service to the horizon at karon beach! Saves bargaining for a taxi or tuk tuk.

Where it is located - in the middle of Patong Beach. Some rooms need to have a little loving care spent on them. As I have said before, staff excellent.
Location - Good
Food good.
Travel tip : Great place to spend a little time and Shakers and Banana bar great eating places.

Value for money by local standards. Useful location. Clean. No real hassles. The work area in the room was too dark to see in. It needs a light. It is inexpensive. The walk-through to the beach is nice. The pool is small for the number of guests, but okay. Lashings of "free" breakfast.
The family room is quite big with lots of storage space. The fight to get past the bar-girls towards town is somewhat sordid. No lift, but no problem if you are fit. The desk work area is too dark to use a laptop in, and the front office staff regarded my request for a lamp as totally unreasonable. The town of Patong leaves a lot to be desired, although the beach is splendid. Service is okay but it is made clear than what you see is what you get, and there is no point asking for anything else - that's by no means unique to this hotel, though. Good for a short stay, but if you are here for above three/four nights, you might want to lash out on something swisher and pricier. We left early, but that had more to do with lousy weather than the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Bring a table lamp if you want to use your laptop in your room!

The staff are excellent,friendly and very helpful.
We were upgraded to a studio room which was great but it was very damp and stunk dreadful, had to burn an oil candle all the time because of the smell. It was on the ground level which I feel has been flooded at one stage and has never been cleaned up fully. It is small but very friendly hotel.

At the time we were staying, one of the two pools was been fixed up for some reason.
They were repainting some of the rooms near the pool area when we were there also. I would probably return one day in the future, it was my second stay there.
Restaurant Tip : Shakers is excellent also The Banana Phuket one is just down from hotel the other is not far but wonderful cheap food, plus a band at Shakers.
Carrefour is wonderful to visit, you can buy anything you want there and cheap.

1)Good location, near Patong beach.
2)Great breakfast 1)No lift, need to climb stairs. Hotel staff was helpful in helping with the luggages.
2)Internet access at 100 BHT per half hour, rather expensive. Upon arrival was impressed with the fountains in front of the reception. Hotel staff was helpful with the luggages. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and the Italian restaurant offers good pasta. The spa and massage are worth a try. Had a facial done and my roommate had a massage, body treatment and facial too at almost half price promotional rates. Overall, it was a good stay for us.
Travel tip : If ever medical attention is required, get to the nearby Patong hospital.
