ideal for shopping and the beach The water in the swimming pool made my eyes sore The hotel Staff were pleasant and very helpful. The morning breakfast was good,plenty to chose from and met all your needs, the two swimming pools was very clean and had a bar pool at each pool.
Ideal location for shopping,markets,massages and the beach just aross the road.

Good hotel, nice location, big rooms, friendly staff,...
Few steps to the beach. Surrounding by many restaurant, massage center, tour agent, very convenience. The air corn is warm. Actually, I read other review of this hotel before, all facing the same problem, air-corn not work. I complaint to the front desk after the first night, they promise to send somebody to fix this problem, but become worse at the second and third night, my sister came to sleep with me because of the heat. Very good experience with this hotel, the room is big. I booked for two deluxe room, and we have 3 adults and 3 children all together, it is too big for us.
The pool is not so suitable, the children pool is too shallow and too small for child above 5 years old, but the adult pool is too deep for children above 5years old to 10years old. Luckily the hotel is very near to the Patong Beach, and they can play at the beach instead of the pool.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The tour agent outside the hotel is much more cheaper than the agent in the hotel. Do not take any tour package through internet; can go along the shop opposite Patong Beach, a lot of tour agent which offer cheap and nice tour.

Close to nightlife (2 min walk)

Hotel staff speak excellent english bathroom needs a bit of an update When we first arrived, we recieved cold drink and towel at reception. We got our room upgraded for free. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, if you would like something special just ask the resturant staff and they will provide it with no extra charge. Close walk to night life, shops. Taxi service and tour company right next door. Massage parlour opposite. Very good value for the price. At end of stay we accidently left stuff in the room, hotel staff checked room while we were eating breakfast and return our forgoten things. We stayed at Gracelands Hotel and Spa (5 star), paid 4-5 times as much as wasn't better. WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMMEND! :)
Shopping Tip : Have a look at the department stores. Most are cheaper than on the streets. Big one one main nightlife strip. Also greats shops, Big C, Tesco, Jungelyn and a new big discount department store where you can buy real nike or adidas shoes and more.

I liked this hotel because thishotel is located in patong beach and walking street. no wifi & internet in room. In business center you must pay fee when you acess internet. This hotel is clean and well maintained I was really impressed with the service and the cleanliness. Hotel is very near beach and 50 meter from walking street if u need to go some where very easy because you can catch tuk tuk and pay a 10 bhat. I was really impressed with the bath tub it was huge. Staff was really friendly and helpful. when we check out my mother has fogot her camera at the loby and we sent email to check after 03 days, after checked the hotel front manager help us to find out this camera and sent back to Vietnam( I only pay the transportaion fee).
Restaurant Tip : alot sea food restaurant and family restaurant near this hotel

Good for tourists who like to stay in the hotel alone, all day long.Indian shopping street right outside the hotel.. i dont know if this is a good thing. big keys for room. safety box works with a 3000 baht key! I am an airline staff. I've travelled the world, and thailand is my favorite destination. I can't recall how many times i've been there but this hotel is definitely the worst experience that i will always remember. It's a prison!

-fantastic location
-cosy setting -too many mosquitos
-pool too tiny
Situated at the heart of Patong beach, close to both the beach and the inner side of the town, quite yet convenient. spacious room and friendly staff. ideal for family trips. but make sure u bring along insect repellent! and good breakfast varieties.

Great Location.
Has two pools.
Included breakfast - hot and cold food all very nice. Restaurant expensive.
Firm bed... but it wasn't uncomfortable.
Internet also quite expensive. Great Location, close to a lot of great shops and across the road from the beach. Has two pools, one that kids can swim in, and one that is for 'relaxing' - great idea. Included breakfast - hot and cold food all very nice. However, the restaurant for lunch and dinners was quite expensive and it took a while to be served. The hotel is close to many restaurants, so eating out is easy and cheaper. The bed in the 'family room' was quite firm but wasn't uncomfortable.

ok location, rear entrance better than front had to walk down dirty road to reach hotel front entrance We stayed here for 3 nights then moved to the Marriot which was a little further down the road. Breakfast here was quite nice. there are lots of stalls nearby, alot of massage places you have to walk past before reaching the main road. We got a family room, which was big but too big for 2 people. Pool was nice and pretty clean

Excellent location, excellent staff and amenities Horiaon Beach resot was beautitful it was like we had walked around the corner and had been fronted with a beautiful oasis. The staff were amazing, so very friendly and helpful always ready to give advice and share their local knowledge. My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon and they treated us so well, our room was gorgeous and the welcome we had was delightful. We stayed at Horizon upon recommendation and will recommend it to our friends.
Nightlife Tip : The Irish Pubs were great, good food, excellent entertainment.

Good location, great food. We stayed in Horizon Patong beach Resort for five days in March 2009.
Excellent location, 5 min walk to beach, but if you’re planning to go to islands or take tours you can save money by booking a hotel not so close to public beach.
A little expensive for value you get. Nice swimming outdoor pool with refreshing cold water where you can relax after hot day or trips.
Breakfast was really good, excellent food quality and variety.
I will recommend this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't book trips in the hotel or in advance through internet.
you can get half price for the same trip just at the entrance on the hotel in private tour operator. You can also book taxi back to the airport for good price in the same tour company.

Peacefull place in the middle of everything, beach, shopping, nightlife. nothing big, breakfast restaurant was too small for all the quests, wlan was poor and expensive,rooms little bit worn out Very nice place to stay. Peacefull, relaxing place in the middle of everything. Short walk to the beach and shopping, restaurants etc. Pools are quite little and bathroom in the room needed a little renovation. Very friendly staff. Everything worked well. Breakfast was ok, but the the restaurant was quite small and grouded. Good small gym.

aged room, rough swimming pool adge I have messed up my commends of this Horizon with the Karon beach Horizon, however, Karon Horizon is great, and Patong Horizon is convinient. service are good in general.
Hotel Feature Tip : For next time, I would definitly stay in Karon Horizon for the comfort and beach.

EXCELLENT LOCATION!! I cannot stress this enough. There is a pathway that leads directly to the beach. It is also within walking distance to Jungceylon Shopping Mall and Bangla Road for all the nightlife! Clean rooms. Beautiful ponds and fountains in and around the hotel, especially at night. The design is quite nice, featuring separate cottages along a pathway, giving the hotel lobby the essence of being completely outdoors. The restaurant was better than average, and the free breakfast buffet was the best I have had at any other hotel in phuket. The pool-bar was old looking and the drink prices there were too high. Also, mosquitoes are a problem due to all the still pools located outside around the cottages. They had to spray inside our rooms every day. I would only recommend this hotel to couples or families not looking for any late-night fun. It is located far enough from the noise of Bangla and Sawadirak Rd. Also, we were early upon our check-in but they were able to accommodate us and lock our luggage up in a safe room while we went to the beach to wait for our room to open.

Perfect location, nice hotel, good food The hotel is in the best location. You have to cross the road and you are right at the beach and the other entrance will take you to the shopping area. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. You have here everything what you need. Swimming pool is perfect. Breakfast is good and various.
Shopping Tip : The shopping paradise is 5 minutes walking distance. Bangla road is 10 minutes walking.
