my wife and i stayed at the imiana private suites for our wedding anniversary. we travel a reasonable amount so we have some comparisons. these villas were absolutely superb, fantastic and wonderful, and the staff first class. we felt that we were almost on a deserted island however just over the hill was shopping and restaurants. nothing was too much trouble for the staff. and food was very good and very reasonably prices. we have stayed in some othe resorts and we felt trapped, but not here. we had a magnificient view out to sea, a large plung pool, huge bathroom with bath and shower facing out to sea. it was so complete we stayed longer in our room/ pool then we have ever stayed anywhere else. i have never done this but i would give these villas 10 out of 10 - and i am a hard judge. highly recommended.
restaurant tip: two chefs if you really have to go out, but room service is well prices and fantastic food.

Great, peaceful place to stay

Beautiful hotel which, as other travelers have said - could do with a fresh coat of paint in the odd place but certainly nothing serious and certainly nothing which negatively affected our stay.
Our pool etc was totally private - no issues with that.
Breakfast wasn't great in fairness - certainly not to international hotel standards but ok for Thailand.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Use the hotel car for trips to Pa tong etc. Same price as a tuk tuk !

An excellebnt hotel, with an excellent staff

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, and the staff is just as friendly and kind as ever. The view from the pool, to the ocean, it cannot be beat. The comfort of the bed, excellent, and the air conditioning in the room works perfect.
I have to say, however, is that as they have raised their rates, the room is slowly starting to fall apart. A little more upkeep is in order, to keep this hotel on my favorite hotel list.

Honeymoon was fabulous, we were upgraded to a garden villa which was very generous of the hotel. We had a very large private pool which was very clean. The were some maintenance issues but i think they are resolving these.

It was a pleasant one night stay in this villa..they have a very nice and friendly staff..jus 5minutes walk you can reach to the beach,saloon,and food store..it was a calm and peaceful area compare with Patong area..I will prefer to stay here and take a 20min trip to party at Patong..

Fantastic ocean view villa

Me and my mom stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in this hotel last month, overall everything is fantastic. Our villa is very huge and I love the private pool so much, we could stay in the villa whole day to have a very relaxing holiday. But this villa is a bit far away from the most popular beaches, and the location is quite difficult to find - there were few times that even taxi drivers couldn't find the place.

Awesome sea view and location.

Stayed there for 3 nights and its not enough! Upon arrival to the resort through their airport transfer, we were served tea and cold towel for us to freshen up. Was glad to know that we are given a free upgrade to honeymoon villa as we told them prior to our arrival that we're celebrating our anniversary there. Felt really appreciated.
We were impressed by the awesome sea view the moment we stepped in to our villa. Its indeed breathtaking! The beds are so comfortable that we often overslept. There's also a walk in wardrobe and safe. Love the spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower with seaview. Fresh fruits are also provided daily. There is also a capsule style coffee machine with a few variety of coffee for us. We also love that we can request breakfast to be served to our room too.
However, a few downsides of this villa which needs maintenance.
1. The door from the bathroom to our bed cant close properly.
2. The sink drainage system is slow.
3. Water temperature from the rain shower is always almost too hot for comfort.
4. Cushions covers are not very clean. Spotted a few stains.
However, it did little to dampen our mood as the amazing pool and view and service compensates for it.
The service of their staffs were always with a smile. On one ocassion i commented that there's lots of mosquitoes when we were having breakfast, one of the staff came over with medicated cream for bites and even applied for me. It was a really nice touch. They are also helpful in giving us directions and information as it was our first time in phuket.
Overall I would definitely return to this villa again!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Stay here for privacy and fantastic sea view.

Great location, helpfull staff but getting tired

Overall i was happy with our stay here at the price i paid but would not pay anything like the rack rate.
The manager was helpfull & after a couple of early hicupps the staff were attentive. They even let us stay in our villa until 6pm on our day of depature.
Although its a spectacular layout & location it is getting very run down & is in bad need of a major facelift.
Lots of little things like doors that wont close, uneven floorboards, lights that dont work (even after globe changed), rusty exteriors, safe didnt work, you get the idea.
