the location was great
nice place to relax and not doing anything
but a bit complicated if you want to go to patong to eat or shopping coz the hotel have only 3 shuttle service a day and if you want to go and come back it will be headek
stuff is ok pull is great and make sure you getting nice sea view
the conciage and front desk are the same person so sometime they will be busy
if you are couple this place is great for you

Great place to stay. It's new so it's clean. It's up a little on the cliff side so the views are amazing and you are away from street noise and away from the noise of Patong Beach area. Free shuttle to Patong which is easy or a cheap tuk tuk ride. The pool is amazing, did I mention the view? Staff are nice. They have 3 restaurants which have quite a few dishes the same, some different. Staff are friendly. It's a big place and lots of different layers/levels so you will be using both stairs and lifts, don't go with a sore knee like I did! The only thing I would say the needed was maps and signs around the hotel showing where all the amenities are as its huge and gets confusing. We got lost at the resort a couple of times! Bed was quite hard also.

stayed here for two nights and found the resort and spa to be pretty good. it's certainly not five stars as touted, but a solid four. the staff were totally helpful and friendly, albeit a bit light on the english at times, but hey, you;re in thailand... doesn't seem like the hotel is quite finished yet, and the internet was abysmally slow, but i would stay there again if i ended up in phuket again.

the cons of this hotel is that their electricity supply is not stable and always gone dark in a sudden and need to pull out the access card and restore back to the holder on the wall.

Laid back modern hotel with fantastic view

For a brand new hotel, there are still some teething problems such as unpainted walls, markings/paint drops left over in rooms, etc.
Staff seemed confused at times with giving bills to correct people, directions within the premises and so on, but I put this down to the hotel being new and staff not yet fully integrated and familiar with it.
The infinity pool is fantastic, with great views over Patong bay, away from the crowds. Also love the in-pool bar, although the music was a little loud and sometimes not appropriate (one CD on constant loop, with techno tunes and Gangnam Style playing once an hour!!!).
The spa was also very good, although it's next to the pool and the previously mentioned loud music does make itself heard when you're trying to relax and enjoy the spa's own soothing music and the massages.
The rooms are large and immensely comfortable. Breakfast buffet is not as good as I've seen reviews for, with just your typical omelettes, bacon, eggs, pastries, fruits and a choice of about 8 asian dishes nothing different from many other top end hotels, so it didn't really stand out from the rest, but still good nonetheless.
Would certainly stay there again!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Spend time relaxing at the infinity pool and pool bar, but get your loungers early as these tend to get taken up early!

Modern hotel with beautiful accommodations

I stayed in a family sea view suite with a group of 3 other girls. Even though we initially booked the room for 3 people, the hotel was really accommodating in enabling us to bring in an extra bed for our 4th (with a nightly charge for the bed) and we felt extremely comfortable in the big room. The bathroom is humongous with a shower and a tub. The hotel has beautiful views, great food and was in a great location 5 min taxi ride from Patong, would highly recommend this hotel to friends.
Only have a few complaints. First, the shower overflowed in our bathroom, but the hotel was helpful in fixing it after a few calls to complain. Second, the private beach they speak about on the site is not at all what you think it is. If you want to stay on a beach, this is not the hotel for you. We were perfectly content hanging by the pool though. Third, the layout of the hotel is kind of confusing and weird. They should really have elevators that take you directly to your room, there were a lot of stairs.

I was unhappy with Kalima Resort and Spa and wouldn't stay here again. The room was extremely overpriced. It's not on the beach and is either a half an hour walk away or a taxi or shuttle bus which runs about twice a day.
Our room had an awful stench like damp or rot had set in, despite it being a new hotel and it's a rabbit warren, a bizarre combination of stairs and lifts to get anywhere.
The breakfast buffet was average and underwhelming.
Staff were unhelpful when planning day trips. We wanted to go to Phi Phi island. The staff booked us a taxi driver who said the boat left at 11.30am. The staff didn't advise anything different and didn't give us any options about the best way of getting to Phi Phi. We arrived at the ferry terminal just after 11am, in time for the 11.30 boat only to be told that the boat left at 11am and the next one wouldn't leave until 1.30pm. As a so-called 5 star hotel (not even close) I would expect that the staff would be much more on top of these things and in a position to give advice to tourists.
Never again will I stay at this hotel or anywhere in Patong, it's awful.

Brand New Fabulous Hotel in Phuket!

- the staff was very helpful and very friendly. they responded to our every request in no time (e.g. our coffee maker machine wasn't work properly,,,the staff came right away after we called and replaced with the new one).
- stunning view from the room, the pool and the restaurant (actually, from everywhere!)
- we were upgraded to pool villa. the room was amazingly decorated and had fresh fruit.
- rooms are comfortable, clean and new.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Renting a car from the airport is recommended. Although there are public taxi services in front of the hotel, the fares are quite expensive.

The roof top pool was amazing and the shuttle to and from Patong beach were helpful as the taxis are quite expensive.

the check in was at 2 pm however i reached and 1.45 pm and requested a room as i came from a tiring flight however, they made sure they gave me a room only at 2. as soon as i came in the room, i found out that there was no electricity. however, after this the stay was good and i had an amazing time in the pool and the room. the room was very good.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure you use the shuttle service as the taxis are just there to rip off the travellers. About 15 mins from Patong beach and I guess you would want to go there everyday.

we had room 8106 and we had to catch two lifts and walk across the pool and then catch a second lift. It rained and we had to cross over the pool area in torrential rain. Very unpleasant. Our honeymoon suite had a view of the dirty roof tops in front of us
