I think this resort has the best view in Patong.

I think this resort has the best view in Patong. I get panoramic ocean view from room, swimming pool and restaurant. Gym is good and also has ocean view. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The resort is not in shopping area and night club, I have to take taxi for 10 minutes to go shopping. However, the location is not bad, it is peaceful and make me feel relax all the time. I not suggest this to the people who go to Phuket just for nightlife because have to go to pub and night club by car about 10 minutes . But I suggest this resort to the people who want to relax and get the good ocean view from everywhere in the resort.
Restaurant Tip:
Thai restaurant in the resort have very good taste and staffs are grate.

The hotel is overpriced. There are no lifts to get to the rooms. We had to climb a lot of stairs. Our room W.C.overflowed one morning and we had to change the room. It is tiresome to even get to the breakfast area and pool. Pool is not clean. Sunset can be seen from pool but with some electricity wires in the view. Staff are friendly. Shuttle is only available till 5pm after which the patong beach is usually crowded. If you wish to stay later in patong beach area you will have to shell out around 200 baht for taxi to hotel or walk 3km uphill. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please look for a hotel near the beach as you will end up saving a lot on taxi fare.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Come here only if you are athletic as there are many staircases here. You will be tired if you climb them to get to your room on a sunny day.

The distance between hotel and Patong beach is just sweet. So I could get a quiet night to sleep
Although we met an Indian party in the night, it finished before 11:30 and didn't bother me at all.

very good view from everywhere in this resort such as room, restaurant and swimming pool. breakfast is very nice. all staff are friendly and helpful. this resort is good for relax. i will go back again next time.

All food in Thailand have very good taste and fruit is amazing.

It's a great place for couples to go for their honeymoon or to relax their mind in this peaceful hotel. Near the beach to enjoy the beach activities n street shoppings.

Hotel was very comfortable (best beds I've slept in in a long while!), pool is fantastic except for the loud music and techno beats, staff are incredibly friendly and the spa is very relaxing.
Nightlife Tip:
Short hop (10 mins) to get into Patong for the nightlife and good food.

The staff are extremely accommodating, we got upgraded as our room did smell a little like seweredge - yes they still have a little work to do on this newly completed hotel.
Location was good as it wasn't right in Patong and away from all the bogans down there.
They offer a complimentary shuttle in and out of Patong 3 times a day so that was good but the last one goes at 5 which is a little early if you are going out for dinner or drinks.
The dining menu needs revising - for a five star hotel the food should be better.
The beds are also quite hard but I found that to be the same in all hotels in Thailand.
All in all we loved Kalima and would recommend it.

Hotel is in an inconvenient location. It's too far away to walk into Patong and taxi is always a rip off (300 Baht one way).
The staff at reception was very unfriendly and not helpful at all. The cook seemed to be the only friendly person.
The whole building is quite confusing and we got lost very often and there are thousands of steps to get around.
I wouldn't go there again.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a good local small restaurant just on the other side of the hotel. Good food and reasonable prices with a nice view.

it was our last day in phuket and we choose this hotel for relax. hotel is good, specially the roof top restaurant. you can get the sea view in the morning and sunset in the afternoon. the pool also nice. only disappointed with the sea view room, we got the one in first floor, so we can't really see the sea from our room because there are many trees and electricity pole with so many cables on the street.

you better ask for the higher floor so you can see everything

It was very nice. Food was good, and there is a spa which was a little expensive but very good. nice lobby. Most staff are nice except one or two of them at the front desk who were rude.
Restaurant Tip:
Baan Yeah, Baan Rim Pa, Kalim Beach are all the restaurant nearby that were good.
