stayed in kamala beach inn for 4 nights. although the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the hotel is in desperate need of renovating. the room was simple and clean, but there was a strong smell of mildew and it was dark with no view from the tiny balcony. breakfast was v.simple with no variety. location is ok as the beach is only a short walk away, but if you are elderly or physically challenged in anyway it would be advisable to avoid this hotel and choose one of the many hotels along the beach front.
Nightlife Tip:
Nice resort for couples who want a quiet holiday or anyone with young children, but not advisable for young, single travellers. Nightlife consists of a selection of decent mid- range restaurants and a couple of small bars - not for party goers.

Problem list was long.
Missing smoke detector, only mount, no detector
First room strong mildew smell, got another room
No room safe, small safety deposit box at the desk
No hot water in 2nd room, first call no response, talk to desk, send guy, cannot fix, to send another person,but never did
Limited breakfast no heater on food, all cold
Wi-Fi in room terrible 1 bar then fails
150 baht/24 wifi access
finally move to another room after repeated calls

Tried to put us in a lower standard room than the one booked, they did change over when we raised it, the kamala suite do not have any windows and the air conditioning not efficient
Very limited breakfast just around corner to Kamala town, if you need a suit this is the town to go to, feels like tailors every 3rd shop!

Lage des Hotels ist noch das Beste, aber das Hotel ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen.
Frühstücksangebot, Service und Sauberkeit waren mit das Schlechteste, was man sich vorstellen kann.
Personal war total demotiviert.

Freundliche Rezeption, schlechtes Frühstück, unangenehmes Zimmer.
Alles akzeptabel bei halbem Preis. So aber viel zu teuer!
Abgenützte Liegestühle, zugewachsene Balkone, keinerlei Service beim Frühstücksbuffet, nicht einmal Milch oder ein Löffel.

Hade större förväntningar på hotellet, ganska slitet och nedgått. Men rummet rent och välstädat dagligen. Frukosten var inte till belåtenhet, brödrostar som inte fungerade bra, saknades ofta bröd, frukt mm fick ofta påtala att saker saknades. Porslinet kantstött, och det saknades servetter och kryddor/salt på många av borden, gästerna fick låna av varandra.
Receptionen- trevligt bemötande, god säkerhet för förvaring i safebox.

Hotellet var beläget längre från centrum än vad vi uppfattat från att ha sett på kartan. Det var mycket trafik utanför vilket var störande.Hotellet var väldigt slitet. Rummet var ok och sängarna var väldigt sköna. Balkongerna var väldigt små. Frukosten som serverades var enkel. Positivt att du kunde ta tuc tuc just utanför hotellet. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Hej det började inte så bra när vi kom klockan 5 på morgonen fans det inte något rum till oss, skulle vi få vänta till kl 8 men efter en stund ordnade de ett rum. AC-en trasig fick byta rum efter två dygn då blev det bra.Väldigt enkel frukost ofta slut på grejorna, men man vart MÄTT endå.Uterummet var väldigt litet.
