lovely staff but less than good management

Sadly we loved the location, so close to the beach, lovely swimming pools and garden with for us a chance to escape children.
We found the staff to be beautiful smiling and though english barrier, very sweet... SADLY the same cannot be made for the management and reception staff whom we found to be extremely unhelpful. Our experience when wishing to speak to someone in management in relation to a letter pushed under the door was a extremeley rude, arrogant and upsetting european woman who had absolutley no interest in listening to our situation.
Further, the reception staff had very limited english skills. When requesting to extend our stay or at least organise a late check we were informed to "come back" two days prior to our departure which is extremely unhelpful & unprofessional.
When we have been asked about our hotel stay by friends we have had say we WOULD NOT stay there due to this.

Lovely Hotel - great room!

We arrived a bit earlier than the check in time and were notified we had been upgraded from a Pool View Room to a Junior Suite - it was fantastic.. rooms are huge, bathroom is simple and really big. Really really nice hotel - the location is a bit out of the hussle of patong (only 15 mins away). Great for a relaxing (kid free!! - as they are not welcome in the Sunprime part of the resort) holiday.

Good location with BAD BAD service

Have not disliked any hotel as much as I we did this. From the moment you enter the hotel, the bad service starts and stays till you are there. Bad front desk, unhelpful staff you can go on and on.
I needed a bike and since the hotel didn't have any left I was asked to get it from the market, no directions or tips given.
Even worse is the room service, in which you need to pay extra to order food to your room. Sounds like a restaurant which charges you for home delivery.
Really regretted my decision of opting for this hotel.

Excellent new hotel right on the beach

Very nice new hotel, it is huge, but we stayed in a garden level room right next to the pool and beach. No children under 15 was allowed, so for us it was a hue plus - no screaming at the pool, nice and quiet. The restaurant food (we ate only Thai there) was gourmet level, well worth a few extra dollars. Street food was nearby, and after an Ok place, we found an excellent place to eat - ent there several times. It was a little difficult to find a place at the pool (there are 2 near the beach), but the pool further away had better beds and was empty. We had to "reserve" a space using our beach towels an the day we checked out, so we had a place to ppark for the day. They have showers and changing rooms for people who has to check out. Our plane was leaving after midnight, so they sored our bags and let us use the facilities for the whole day (check out is relatively late, at noon, which was also very helpful). They called us a taxy for the airport with a preset price, low for the area (taxi drivers in Phuket are wolves, they would charge exorbitant prices - be prepared to bargain hard).
Hotel Feature Tip:
Live music at least 3 nights a week at the restaurant (the one near the beach) - that and good food made for nice evenings.

A real gem of a hotel
Friendly atmosphere, peaceful and quiet.

I knew as soon as we walked into the hotel the stay was going to be excellent. The room was superb, cannot fault anything about this hotel. I just wish that our stay was longer.
Restaurant Tip:
To walk into the town, go the the beach and take a left for about a hundred yards until you see a bridge. The town is ahead of you about 5 mins.

Big hotel located on the beach

4 pools, restaurants and professional staff. Our room was on 1st floor and overlooked 2 of the pools. Perfectly comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Taxis in Phuket are very expensive so if you have an option not to use them then exercise it.
