I arranged a transfer through the hotel which is expensive but worth it as Phuket airport is a nightmare for being harassed.Quick and efficient check in,Friendly and helpful staff.Good sized rooms excellent facilities. Good breakfast and food in the restaurant. Excellent location right on the beach but also close to some good restaurants and shops near the small town.

I was very welcome from the very first day.All the staff smile all the day long and are so patients!They did everything to make my stay comfortable.The hotel was amazingly clean and the food fantastic.I enjoyed thai food which is very healthy!Massage areas were directly in the resort and women who practiced it were very professional
Nightlife Tip:
Little market near the hotel was lovely and safe to walk by night

Power went out for 30 minutes to an hour each evening, apparently no generator, had to take a shower in the dark. Some of the rooms are sold as "partial sea view" but actually have no sea view at all (lower floors of the Beach Wing). Property has a lot of nice pools and is on the beach with easy walking to all the beach vendors and food options, as well as the bars and stores in town. Easy ride to Patong (about 15 minutes, 400 Baht) but quieter and less crowded than Patong.

After staying at a stunning place on Ko Yai Noi, this was a big disapointment. The hotel room we had was a suite and ok, but nothing special. It was not very clean but not very dirty either. The hotel, area and the closest beach lacked all of Thailands charm, and was just an unpleasant experience. Most of the staff that worked there were not service minded and the food in the hotels restaurant was nothing special. The breakfast buffet was ok, the pizza ok, but I missed all the delcious thai dishes.

We can only recommend this Hotel to others. It is family friendly with many pools, the location is perfect at the beautiful bay with many restaurants adjacent with good value for the money. Some of the staff does not speak english good enough, so there are some communication issues if you have any specials needs, wishes. The breakfast buffet is excellent!
Nightlife Tip:
Directly at the beach next to the Hotel are very good, simple restaurants with good value for money, nice Bob Marley bar next to hotel.

What a resort!
Good sized rooms, great breakfast, new facilities.

If you're like us and you like pools,being close to the beach,getting massages having a few lazy drinks and relaxing, and not being too far from a shopping hub then you will love it here. The rooms were more than spacious and we were accomadated well for our honeymoon. Apart form being a little bit under sound proofed we were quite comfortable, and the atmosphere was great with seemingly more pool area than you could poke a tree at!! enjoyable stay.

pools and pools and pools! grab a deck chair early!

The Kamala Beach Hotel was very pleasant - we had a room in a courtyard overlooking the massage hut suspended over a pond. The Hotel was much larger than we had expected, for those of you who like to sit by the pool, the upper area near reception was empty most of the time - certainly no problem getting a sunbed. There is a sister hotel next door and they have a laundry room that you can use. there are also several book exchanges dotted around but most guests aren't English so your choice may be limited.
