On Karon Beach, this quiet hotel offers breathtaking views overlooking the Andaman Sea and is a wonderful honeymoon retreat or family vacation spot. Perhaps Phuket’s best beach awaits honeymooners, families and those looking to relax. The medium size hotel allows for personal service from the friendly staff. The location, right on the beach, is spectacular. If you must leave the grounds, the town is nearby for shopping and restaurants. For wild nightlife, visit Patong (about a 30-minute drive). For sightseeing the Karon Beach hotel tour desk can arrange trips to Phi-Phi Island and you can visit waterfalls, temples, and amusement parks. The hotel has a good restaurant with fine Thai food and, most surprising, perfectly cooked steaks. Good food, great scenery, kind staff, luxury room, a perfect vacation.

Refurbishment of the guest rooms and guest facilities at Karon Beach Resort & Spa will start from May until October 2013. The areas of work are separated by sections. Guest Rooms will start at 15 rooms followed by another 15 rooms until completion. Other hotel areas on the list are the Restaurants, the Hotel Entrance, the Lobby and the Spa. Any disturbances will be kept in a minimum. The hotel will remain open during this period and all bookings will be accepted.

We had a great room on the third floor with an amazing view across Karon beach. The hotel was a little tires and could do with a coat of fresh paint but that didn't worry us. The hotel has a great beach front restaurnat and a nice swim up bar and the prices were quite reasonable for a hotel. We wanted a quiet holiday where we could access the beach, shopping and restaurants and the hotel provided all of that. Hotel Feature Tip: Ask for a room on the third floor.
