Great stay - thanks to all!
Friendly staff. Most spoke more than adequate English and were great to talk with.
Breakfast included a great variety - fresh fruit, Thai foods (simple rice / noodles) omlettes cooked to order, toast, cereal, juice, drinking water, etc, etc.
Helpful tourist office / can book charter tours, scooters, etc from there and get info.
Great room / balcony.
Off peak rates were GREAT! (excellent value for $)
2 bottles of drinking water complementary every day!

I loved the stay. Staff were very friendly, polite and all apart from one person one time could understand me and undertake everything without any hassle. (I try not to be demanding). I talked with the waiters / waitresses (as it was sometimes quiet enough - ie. not overwhelmed with customers - being off season and often I was eating late) to have a chat. My room was probably 100 - 150m from the road, one of the 'deluxe' suites - which was good (excellent) in that it meant things were quieter (which I wanted). Some people might find this walk a bit tedious if they are not in good health and have to do it several times a day, e.g. to check with restaurant, go to reception, etc. There was some construction work on another hotel away a bit, which was not really annoying, (and I'm quite fussy about that). However this from the 'general' balcony / walkway side, so it didn't affect me. Glad that the curtains were quite dark (blocking out light). Room cleaned very well. Shower and bath worked great. (Often bathrooms don't 'function well' in some hotels, but all worked fine!)
I'm not a 'party / nightlife' person - so Karon beach being quieter suited me fine. Still enough people around and shops / sights to make it interesting. I would definitely plan to stay there again should I visit Phuket in the future, and recommend it to friends.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
I hired a scooter from the Karon Princess hotel. All went smoothly. I do have a full Australian Motorbike licence, which they said was required. 200 baht / 24 hours. Very reasonable (and super cheap on petrol). I used the scooter to see other beaches (i.e. apart from Karon), the Big Buddha, Phuket Butterfly House, Phuket town, shops, an elephant trek and just generally get around! Good to have that flexibility. Some days to do things by walking, and other days by scooter.

The location is in fromt of the beach but theres a creek in between the beach and hotel, and if you want to enjoy phuket i strongly suggest getting hotel in patong beach.Staff are not friendly , difficult for them to give you a smile even you smule at them. After they get your booking its like there done doing there job for you, not what i expect in thailnd hotels
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you go to phuket try to stay in pating if you want activity and food choices, and try the tours we took the jamea bond island hopping and canoeing using the phuket team company
,overall we had a great trip.

i went to phuket for business and was looking for hotel not far from pathong but more quiet, i then found karon princess hotel from agoda. Fantastic, peace and quiet, i can spend my time after work relax at the pool in he afternoon, i can see sun set on the beach even from the hotel terrace. i will definitely go back again if i have chance.
Restaurant Tip:
lost of nice food and bar around the hotel, also good spa not far from the hotel

The hotel is conveniently located on the Karon Beach; it is close to restaurants and good qaulity cheap thai massage places. It is close to the activities nearby Old Phuket hotel. The breakfast is OK. You can buy wi-fi internet on the reception. For example, 12 hours of internet cost me 400 baht (I could use this time over the period of stay over there).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kata beach which is 5 mins by Tuk-tuk (200 baht).

Stayed in many places in Karon and this has the nicest and largest rooms for the money by far. Good quality furnishings too. Breakfast buffet has the usual at this level but nothing special. Exc room cleaning service. A bit of a hot walk to the center of town, but some shops and stuff right near by. At low season prices a real steal.

The hotel is good value the the price we paid & we found the staff to be helpful when we required. It does require a 5-10 min walk to get to the main shopping area of Karon but for the beach the hotel is directly opposite. Buffet breakfast did not have a lot of variaty but was adequate.
Restaurant Tip:
Turn right from the hotel & walk 5-10mins to finds plenty of dining options & bars.

Nice part of the town, not to far away from main street of Karon where bars /restaurants are. Hotel excellent, rooms fine, great main swimming pool and right by sea.about 45 minutes by taxi from airport.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, especially omlettes which are done for you individually. Rooms are fine, lifts are very fast and food is nice if you eat in the evening reataurant although pricy for Phuket but not by home standards.Right by the beach and a slow 10 minute walk to main shops/etc. I would recommend this hotel for all ages.

almost wonderful
The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. had trouble w/wi-fi connection and they got it to work. good breakfast buffet overlooking the sea. nice linens on beds.

first time in phuket. right across the street from beach and next to market and restaurants. great location. except for shower problems we would recoment this location. nice pool and bar facility on 2nd floor. got room service dinner 2 evenings and it was great and reasonably priced. good value for our stay. wonder if other rooms had same shower issues.
