Room is spacious and clean, and it also come with bathrobes, beach slippers, umbrella and complimentary bottled drinking water. Bottled water also used to top Hot water flask for coffee making.

Tap water in hotel are not potable, a caution sign for guests will be helpful. Swimming pools need better maintenance. Many particles can be seen floating in the water and floor of jacuzzi pools felt slimmy.

We stayed 4 nights in Karon Princess Hotel with intention to unwind and enjoy good food, and we achieved both. Our room was at the far end from hotel lobby, facing the swimming pool. The soothing sound of water trickling from the mini waterfall and jacuzzi, plus the cool comfort of our room made it easy to stay put, and not go out in the hot afternoon sun. The sea is just across the road. The beach and water are clean but the big waves can be dangerous. Watch out for the warning flags. We enjoyed soaking in the sea and going for walks on the beach. It rained on every evening, but the sky cleared just on time on the last day for us to glimspe a beautiful sunset. There are also some fisherman using nets to catch small shrimps in the shallow water on the beach in the mornings. The food from Sunset restaurant is ok. Many good food joints around the hotel offering western and local cuisines plus generous discounts. Massage in hotel is rather pricey. There are many massage salons to choose outside hotel.

Travel tip : I recommend the fried white snapper in tamarind sauce at Karon Seafood Resturant in Karon town (10 mins walk}. Beer is much cheaper here too.

Close to beach Nice swimming pool

Shower not that hot Tap Water pressure not very strong

This hotel was very good value for money. The room was clean, modern and very spacious. Some minor grumbles with water pressure and temperature, and the minisafe wasn't working. Fortunately I was with relatives who looked after my valuables. As I was there for only 2 nights I didn't mind the minor issues. The friendly staff would have attended to them anyway. Overall - very good.

Good location directly across from Karon Beach. Very good price, rooms were very clean

Some noise created by workers in Hotel next door did not cause any great concern. There was a dog nearby barked all night on 2 nights ,dog was not at hotel.

We stayed at the Karon Princess Hotel in Karon Beach Phuket after looking for an sffordable hotel. The Karon Princess was very reasonably priced and was able to provide interconnecting rooms a double connected to a triple for our three children. A reasonable breakfast was also included in our room price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap hotel with no frills, clean and tidy and a good sized pool located on a second floor roof.

Travel tip : Plenty of inexpensive restaurants within both walking distance or taxi travel. Easy access to tour info and sales. Lots of markets to choose from for clothes etc bargaining is good and expected.

Good location across from the beach and near a few shops. Very nice rooms--layout and size were good; also high quality linens, pillows, towels, bath clothes, beach towels, ample toilet paper, room safes, free water plus mini-bar provided. Excellent included breakfast with adequate choices and especially good omelet bar. Nice staff in restaurant, lobby, and housecleaning. Fantastic value for the price!

Construction next door was loud and started at 8 in the morning. Long way from the lobby to the room. Shower was very small and moldy, but the large, clean tub with detachable shower nozzle helped. The beach across the hotel had red flags the entire time, so one had to go somewhere else to swim. Tuk Tuks were very expensive to go everywhere in and around the area.

I enjoyed staying at Karon Princess and would definitely recommend it! It provided a high quality, comfortable stay for a very reasonable price. The rooms were very nice and provided all the amenities one would desire on vacation. It was away from the party scene, so very suitable for relaxing or family fun. The beach across the street was pretty and easily accessible (although the red flags prevented one from doing much more than walking the sand). In addition to a tasty complementary breakfast bar, lunch and dinner also provided good food at decent prices. I would definitely stay at Karon Princess again!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't book excursions at the hotel--they are more expensive and with fewer options. There are a couple of travel agencies in the little strip mall area that provided better activity options and prices.

Clean, comfy and well located

The shower is a mess...can't use it without flooding the bathroom. Ridiculous, but they provide enough towels to clean up the mess.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Karon Princess Hotel, Karon Beach, Phuket, Thailand. The hotel is well located across the street from the beach, and one may catch a bus back to Phuket Town right in front of the hotel. Shopping, massage, and restaurants are also close by. Decent breakfast buffet included with a cook fixing made-to-order omelettes.

Restaurant Tip : I enjoyed the food and ambience of the Little Mermaid's Bar/Restaurant, which is nearby.

.Friendly staff with smile on their faces. .Room with spacious balcony, no view though .Just a corner to Karon Beach

.The drainage is very poor .No swimming pool .Far away from convenience stores

We have spent five days at the hotel and we are all upset without swimming pool in the hotel. Convenience stores are far from the hotel if you can't sleep without having plenty cans of cold Singha Beer. However, the hotel is close to Karon beach which is a wonderful place, like heaven if it's okay to swim too! It's a good try on having BBQ food from the hawker riding motorbike! ^^

Shopping Tip : Don't forget to have a big bargin, let's say 60% off of the price.

Right on the beach, great price, good breakfast included, nice rooms

Elevator smelled terrible, tour bookings through hotel are overpriced, a bit far from the town... but you go to phuket for the beach right!

Really solid hotel for not much money. Rooms are nice and seem quite new. Good breakfast. Staff speaks excellent english. Best thing is this hotel is literally across the road from the beach! Only real criticism is that the tours sold at the front desk are overpriced. I'd definitely recommend this hotel! Ask for a semi-seaview room.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : To book a trip to Ko Phi Phi much cheaper, go to any nearby travel agent.

Swimming Pool, Staff, service, Breakfast, location, price.

It is a little bit hard for parking and also close to a drainage canal, but for the price is the best deal in karon

In my opinion of the hotels you can book on the net, Karon Princess, booked through Agoda, is abslutely the best deal out there. The staff are nice and remeber me from last trip. Buffet breakfast is a great deal and it's close enough to walk to shopping, meals, banks and all. The swimming pool on the roof on the 2nd floor is great if you have children and it's so easy to walk acros the street and be right on the beach for a jog, swim, etc.

Hotel Feature Tip : Although you are advised not to swim at night, the staff are very friendly and will dela putting chlorine in pool until late if you request.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Communal areas kept clean. Good breakfast. 2 minutes to the beach. Shopping, restaurants, bars, all in walking distance. Lots of transport available to other areas.

Staff can only speak basic English, so keep it simple. Internet access was limited as one of two computers was out of action for more than 2 weeks. In the pool, some tiles needed replacing, rather a lot were missing.

We stayed for four weeks at this hotel, and had a lovely time. The staff are very helpful and willing to please. The rooms were cleaned every day, and the communal areas were regularly kept up to. The wonderful beach is just across the road from the hotel, and there are lots of beach huts/basic restaurants all the way along, where you can get beers or a great lunch for a very cheap prices. There are also plenty of water sports you can try out. If you want to go further afield, there are plenty of taxis. We felt you got good value for money all round.

Shopping Tip : Don't pay the price they say, unless there is a real price tag on the item, they don't mind haggling.

Close to the beach.

Constructions right outside our sunless balconies.

Good hotel in good condition. Swimming pool was nice but the sunbathing area was a bit small and kind of not facing the sunshine. You had to come early to get a good spot. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Hotel location was close to the beach, restaurants and market. On departure we ordered a taxi in the lobby and it didn't arrive, so we almost missed our flight.

Large bed

terrible breakfasts, bad smells out side rooms, no security cctv or guards, no internet.

building work facing rooms in end block very loud and dusty. We got moved to a ground floor garden room after complaning to agoda. The garden view rooms are 2 feet of grass in front of your balcony then a service road and a view of next doors hedge!. We had to go to the gala night on new years eve, I cant even begin tell you how bad it was we had to sit through 2 thai tourist dvds this was the entertainment along with some dancers that were so bad it was beyond belief. The food was awful and tastless and the music was so loud it gave you earache. This has to be the the worst hotel We have stayed at in thailand in ten years.

Restaurant Tip : Zinygs round the corner near the old phuket resort

right at the beach! that was the feature why we decided to take it. \nnot too expensive

smells REALLY bad right out side the standard garden view rooms, like washroom smell\ntable lamp in middle of the bed- you will hit your head at night\n

staff is more willing to help the white people than any one else\nstaff cannot speak english, not really friendly staff.\ninternet was not working\nTHERE WAS CONSTRUCTION out side the standard rooms as well, lots of noise even at night\n\nif your flight back is late, you can negotiate a late check out, i stayed until 10 pm for an extra 500.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 1- you can take a mini van from the airport for 180 bhat per head, to go back mini van is also available for 200 bhat until 5:30 pm, if you are 4 people, you can rent a private minivan for the airport for 800. \n\n2- Halal food is available, once you come out of the hotel, turn right and walk until the big round circle, then turn right, and on the 3rd road at your left you can go to \"Kashmir Hotel\" very nice pakistani Halal food, there is also navrang mahal and another kashmiri resturant there\n\n3- dont forget to negotiate with the tour arrangers, we got a deal for Phi Phi islands for 750 per head, and James Bond 5 in one tour for 950 in off season.\n\ndont mistake Karon to be a good place, it smells and the table lamps in standard rooms are fitted on the wall and in middle of your bed, you will hit your head if you wake up at night!

Just accross the road from the Beach

Television reception needs fixing. No internet Access in Hotel(Broken)

Karon Princess was just what we wanted , the rooms were clean and tidy. The beach was just accross the road the breakfast was fairly basic but was enough for us. The Pool was excellent and very clean. The Umbrellas around the pool were a little dated but most were still functional. The Location is nice and quiet without all the neon and loud noise of Patong. The taxi fare into Patong was 400Baht which in comparison to Bangkok was expensive but it is definately worth the trip just to see how the other half lives. Just next to the Hotel there is a lovely Restaurant and Tour Booking service called I think Butterflies, the Staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. Take Away was done at no exta charge and was enjoyed back on the beach or at the Hotel.

Hotel Feature Tip : The pool was a bit deep for younger children but was very clean and lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Excellent size room. Close to the beach.

Building work taking place next door, noisy at times. Work went on late in the evening.

The Karen Princess is well located on Karen Beach, within easy walking distance of the town. The pool was a good size but a number of tiles are missing from the surface area. There are two buildings to the hotel one on the road, and one at the rear, this is the one disturbed by building work.
