Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

close to beach, easy to find comfortable restaurants

hotel staffs are nice and seem try to maintain their quality of services. so it is up to you if their standard meets your minimum requirement or not.
it was well balanced for me considering the price.

Ideal location, spacious rooms & great service
Location is great, right at the end of Karon & at the tip of kata.
8.3
rooms are very spacious, very clean toilets. the concierge is very polite and service is great & fast.
love the location, however the wifi in the e room is very weak. most of the time i have to walk to lobby to get a connection.
tried the room service menu, food is terrible.
the spa massage is also one of the worse treatment i have ever encounter.
there are massage stations just right outside the hotel charging at one quarter of the price but their skills are so much better.
neverthess in terms of hotel stay, it is still a great value for money stay esp for solo travellers.

Hotel is tired. Staff ineffectual.
4
so granted i went at the very end of the low season (october) so i am hoping that my poor experience is down to the hotel "subbing" all their good staff for their b grade staff.
however i tried on numerous occasions to work with the staff to get issues resolved but the staff were completely nonchalant, obstructive and ineffectual.
i have stayed at this hotel for many years now and i used to be a big fan, but unfortunately after last weeks experience i will not be back.
- room cleanliness is ok, but if you start looking closely you will be a little disgusted. the rooms are starting to feel dated too and the tv’s now barely work…(ok ok why would anyone want to watch tv whilst in paradise, but it did rain for 6 days straight.)
- you have to pay 50 tbh per day to use the in room safe….weird but not surprised. this is the only place in the world during all my travels that i have to pay for the privilege of keeping my stuff safe.
- the breakfast was poor at best, and the staff were not at all helpful. friendly enough, just ineffectual. i must admit it must be hard to cook a buffet for so few people, but the food was bad and choice was very limited. perhaps cooking fresh would be better?
- lastly at 4am on my last night/morning all the electricity went in my room, so no fan, no aircon, no lights. when i rang to see if it could be fixed it was a huge hassle and when i complained they procrastinated beyond belief. i suggested they give me the adjoining room after 30 mins of mucking about, but they said the hotel was full (which i know for a fact was a lie as there was only about 6 other people in the entire hotel)
then finally after an hour of trying to fix the issue, they finally decided that the adjoining room was free and that i could move in. no apologies, no good.

Hotel with a great View
A good view of the delux sea view room and the room is spacious.

The reception staff was not well verse in English and the hotel does not have any in-house taxi. I needed to go to the airport at 7:00am and thought that I could just summon a car during check out but in the end I had to end up grabbing a taxi waiting down the road.
Other than that the location of the hotel is close to some good restaurants and shopping was convenient.

Hotel needs a good facelift. Rooms and facilities can use some upgrading. They charge a fee to use a key-enabled safety box in the room, which is available for free in many hotels. They also charge guests for WiFi, but this policy was reversed on my second day of stay. There is free WiFi from now on. The redeeming factor is that I heard the management is investing in a major renovation project for the hotel in the near future. Will only consider returning after they completed the renovations and upgrade.
