The pool was lovely and warm. 9.7 Convenient for Kata and Karon. Staff got us discount on hire of motorbike next door. Also got discount on diving from dive shop across from the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Beach towels, in-room safe and two bottles of water in the room every day. Big patio type doors to private balcony making the room very light. Loads of night time lights, unlike some hotels which are quite gloomy. As with all Thai hotels the bed was very big, but also very hard!!!! I wish they had soft beds.... It was good to get home to my own bed! Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Do go diving, there are some really good dive sites from Phuket. Go to see the Big Buddha right on top of the hill over looking Karon, Kata and Chalong. Go to Yanui beach, ideal for snorkelling, ask the locals where to find it, it's near the sunset point. Also Jungle beach, drive through the Royal Yacht hotel. Butterfly farm, botanical gardens, shell museum and acquarium. As you can see there are lots to see in Phuket. Go to Roberts Pub in Kata one evening, it doesn't open until late and Robert comes on about 1am, but he's well worth waiting to hear him play his guitar and sing.
