hotel was great with large very comfortable bed
beach is close food was close and shopping was close

the food at the hotel wasn't great. I rented a moto for 200 a day and found some great restaurants like Jamaican bar and restaurant and others. reception wasn't very friendly but beers from 711 and drinking by the pool was great

The Kata Poolside Resort is a nice location with friendly staff, clean and the rooms are large with extra Bed for a child or any other 3rd person. The restaurant offers tastily Thai and european food. The breakfast buffet offers all you need as well. A weak point: Usually there is a pool bar which unfortunately was not open all five days when I was there.
