Location (3min walk to the beach), very clean and new interior, balcony, cheap If you are looking for a decent place to stay without too much luxury for a small price, then this is the perfect place to stay! It's clean, has new and modern furniture, a nice balcony, air-conditioning, it's quite and the TV has many English programs. There are many nice restaurants in the area. The breakfast was a little too simple, but still great for the price. It's not right at the beach, but only a 3min walk from there, so perfect!

Service is not very great. This place is a convenient and close hotel to kata beach, service is OK, but this is the first hotel that I have stayed in where they charge you for an ice bucket! Otherwise, rooms are OK, pool is not bad, just an average hotel, nothing will impress you and lets hope nothing will disappoint you!

Large Clean Rooms
Not on the beach but close to shops, bars etc.
Quiet part of Phuket We have stayed in this hotel before and are always pleased with the politeness and level of service from the staff. The rooms are clean and large - if you can get a room on the top florr at the front you get a balcony and can see the sea. SOme rooms have balconies with direct access on to the pool. the restaurant is good , the thai food is very good and we got a 10% off voucher for dinner for the duration of our stay. I would stay here again as in a wuiet part of Phuket.
Travel tip : don't use the taxi counter at the airport do a deal outside about 400 baht is a good fare as it is about 45 mins to the resort from the airport.

Large Clean rooms

Good pool with plenty of shade awqay from main street NOt right on the beach - but reflected in price We have stayed in this hotel before and are always pleased with the politeness and level of service from the staff. Nice decoration, warm hospitality & centrally located Worth to stay there as the hotel offered attractive room rate. Centrally-located and walking distance to Kata Beach and restaurants/shopping areas. The staffs are all very nice and helpful. The internal decoration is excellent in comparison with hotels with teh same grade. Unfortunately, there is no seaview room in this hotel.

The closiness to everything, the beach, Karon, Tuk Tuk and Taxi The rooms on the first floor by the pool has a bed smell. The mosquitos. Very nice hotell, family friendly! The staff was wonderfull. The rooms are very big and nice, and if you are a big family you can ask for a connection room, just a door between! The hotel feels very "deluxe" and the atmosphere is very Thai. A nice, small poolarea, but we prefered the beach. We would like to go back and stay at Kata Poolside.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the hotel travel agency, they have very good service and good price.

Nice pool, friendly staff, huge lovely room with balcony!!! we didn't really dislike anything other than there were loads of misquitos because of the hotel water features. Lovely Hotel, the rooms are huge, with a chaise longue, king size bed, big bathroom with seperate shower and bath, in room safe, fridge etc. very nicely tiled and decorated, had a nice little balcony, no view but appreciated for the privacy aspect! The pizza in the restaurant was really good. However, when we booked it the second time, they gave us breakfast vouchers, and we had booked so many hotels through agoda and some included breakfast and some didn't we didn't think much about it. Then when we were eating breakfast, the waitress pulled me away from the meal to speak to reception, and they said it was a mistake and we had to pay for it-so not ideal really. We would have went somewhere else for a good breakie rather than the bog standard breakfast available. The pool is really nice as well, though no shade to sit in around it.

Good location. Near beach and services. Very tidy. Friendly staff. Pool area is small. Breakfast was simple. Good price/quality -balance.
Tidy, pleasant and large rooms.
Beds were quite hard, but very convinient for us.
Bathroom is well equipped and spacious.(extra plus points for bide´ and shower).
Pool area is quite small and beside thoroughfare, so it is quite restless. We didn't use pools, because the beach was so near, about 300 m.
Breakfast was simple; Every morning the same breakfast during two weeks.
Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
We liked our stay at Kata Poolside Resort.

Right among the hustle and bustle. Near the beach. Sometimes a bit noisy at nights. Airco makes lots of noise. Beds are hard. Kata Poolside resort is an ok choise when staying at Kata. The personell is very friendly, the rooms nice and clean. Breakfast is somewhat short of choise, but what is provided is good. Uncomfortable beds due to hard mattresses. The area is nice, you are in the middle of all the shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is only few minutes walk away.

Very nice rooms and hotel
Nice spot in Kata Beach
Great staff
Big free breakfast Not beach front (although it's close) It was a very nice hotel with a great staff. It's not beach front, which would be nice, but the beach is very close so that's ok. There are no elevators and the rooms are in back so carrying your luggage can be a pain.

Delightful, spacious rooms, lots of peace and quiet, excellent amenities & staff Would have been nice to have a more private dining area. We were actually more pleased with this hotel than we expected to be, rooms were much bigger/better than the hotel literature or photos indicated. Location was also excellent, just a couple blocks from the beautiful Kata Noi beach, and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. We actually were not tempted to even leave the Kata area at all, since everything was close to hand. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and I can especially recommend the spa. The pool (which we only used once) was clean and tranquil. Best of all, nights were quiet and uninterrupted by noise, an excellent family atmosphere. The restaurant is at the front of the lot, giving onto the public street, and is open to the public, not just the hotel guests, so didn't have that exclusive feel, but the food there was quite good, and a good value. We especially thank the staff manning the tour desk, who bent over backwards to try to help us leave Thailand via Phuket, since the Bangkok airports were closed. They were very caring and helpful.

The swimming pool design said it all within the hotel's name Kata Pool Site.
Also the open window connected part between bathtub and bed is a great idea! The entrance was horrible narrow and uncomfortable. I was upset to select this hotel and arriving there with my 3 years old son for a swim but there pool was out on the fixed! Without any advance informing and no replacement to share the pool with nearby hotel. Which shall be the case.
I don't like the idea of stopping a kid of 3 years old not to have just a glass of milk for breakfast even I traded it with the adult meal of the last day. So we decided to check out earlier. I am not impress.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nice beach point of Kata just a walk away.

It's quite close to beach side, only 5 minutes walk. Money exchange and 7/11 are next to the door of the hotel, very convenient! The balcony faces to the roof of another house, and the hotel is far from town. I had to say I will be back in high season, cause I am expecting to see the beatiful sunset view the area is famouse for. But please dont give me a room has balconey face to other's roof!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't book any boat trip from front desk, they charge double. There is an information desk in the lobby, can book from them. They just working during business hour, so if you want to plan a boat trip, dont miss it.

Great pool We stayed at Kata Poolside Resort for 2 weeks in the rainy season. Fortunately the weather was good and we spent many pleasant afternoons on the balcony or around the pool. The hotel was a very short walk to the beach, to a 7/11 shop and market places. The bus stop for Phuket was just across the road so getting around was easy.
The staff were very helpful. The rooms more than adequate. In addition the resident tour company sold us some good deals allowing us to enjoy Phuket to the fullest during our stay.
I would definately stay at Kata Poolside Resort again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : JD Tours on site was most helpful in organising tours.

We like this hotel very much,staff is very friendly,
its close to the beach, the food in the evening is very good. the hotel is nice, for the price very okay,its clean,
quiet, very close to the city and all sights, the
staff are friendly and helpful. Agoda make a very good offer. I am sure when I visit Bangkok I will come again to this hotel. I reccommended Agoda and this hotel to all my friends. Its really okay.
