Overall the resort is nice with a beautiful semi-private beach. It's quiet on a dead-end road, perfect if you are trying to escape the hustle and bustle. With all the resort facilities you don't even have to leave. I made the mistake of booking the Bhuri Wing and was very disappointed with the room, especially the view and bathroom, for the price we paid. Since the hotel was over-booked an upgrade was impossible. The hotel restaurants were good but a tad pricey for the quality of food, a better bet is to go to one of the restaurants right across the street from the hotel. If you are interested in shopping you have to grab a cab or tuk-tuk for a 10-ish minute drive to the next beach. It was too far away from any type of nightlife or shopping for me and the wife. The resort really wasn't that bad, but for the price I expected more.
- Restaurant Tip : There are several very good restaurants right next to the hotel that serve very good Thai and European dishes.
