lovely setting
Very friendly and helpful staff, the best we have seen

the rooms/bungalows were lovely. they were clean and the bathroom was huge with an enormous shower area which was semi outdoors but private. there was also an outdoor area with fridge and sofa. the food was great in the restaurant. the beach is very rocky so stayed at the pool which was big (and cold!) the only bad thing about the resort is that there were a lot of steep drop offs around the pool area and in the bungalow so was a bit dangerous for small children.

very nice resort but had to eat there every night

when we booked this we didn't realise where it was, once we found out we got a little worried about its location. turned out to be great we did many tours through the resort they were reasonably priced and most of the time we were on the tour alone.
everyone was extremely nice and the room was kept very clean.
the room we had was massive, very comfortable. the pools were very nice. the only thing that let the resort down was that you had to eat at the resort for dinner everynight because boat didn't run past 6pm and there is no real resturant on the island.

We stayed 4 nights, due to high tide there is no beach! only rocks, so we used only the pool,
the staff seems to be very nice, but some not.
we will not go back again.

Wonderful Hotel, fantastic views, beautiful pool on a wonderful unspoilt island.

This is a experience not to be missed, can't understand why anyone stays on Phuket with this so near but hope they do or this island will become spoiled too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motorbike a look around for a couple of hours each day.

Beautiful part of Phuket
The Resort has been designed and maintained as an eco friendly facility. The design and furnishings are fabulous and blend in with the natural surroundings. Staff are very helpful and the restaurant food is good

We stayed 5 days in Koh Yao Yai Village Resort as we were looking for some quiet relaxing time after travelling around for a few weeks. This is the place to go. Beautiful Island which you can explore in a day, the resort is well laid out and very quiet - great pools. You don't have a lot of choice with were to eat as it really is only at the resort and maybe one or two other restaurants. The only negative thing is the beach is not very nice especially at low tide. We loved this space - totally relaxing !

Peaceful and relaxing
Rooms, Service and massive pool
7.7
The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Every room had their own outdoor sitting area with a daybed, covered with mosquito netting...Very important. A couple of lounge chairs. The individual bungalow was great as I like my privacy and it was not stuck too close to any other bungalows. The bungalows are placed in a huge forest of trees. I thought I would miss not having the seaview, but because we were in such a woodsy area, I forgot about the sea. The walk to the beach was not far at all. And since we are the only resort in the area, we had to entire beach to ourselves.
The entire island is comprised of 99% Muslims, so if you are looking to party here...not happening. But rent a scooter and tour the island. It was fun!

Beautiful Island Escape
Beautiful Island only 1 hour from Phuket with amazing infinity pool with a gorgeous view!
7.7
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very relaxing as the Island is very quiet. However for us 2 nights was more than enough as there is not a lot to do here unless you want to pay high rates for hotel activities. We couldn't find many restaurants on the Island to eat at so we were forced to eat at the hotel's restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and the quality is pretty good. In my opinion the western dishes were actually better than the thai dishes. The restaurant itself is very nice. It's an open bungalow overlooking the beautiful infinity pool and coastline. The only issue we had with the restaurant was the menu and breakfast was somewhat limited and got very boring after a couple of lunches and dinners.
The bungalow room was comfortable and clean and surrounded by beautiful forest scenery. We loved the covered balcony and the open rain shower which is apart of the bathroom. Yes there are bugs which get into the room but this is to be expected in this particular environment but they never annoyed us and we didn't get bittern by mosquitos any more than we did at any of the resorts on the mainland.
Overall, we loved the personal touches which this resort provides and the tranquil, beautiful location and excellent value for money.
Shopping Tip:
Bring any food/water you may like/need with you from the mainland as this is cheaper than buying it on the Island.

great secluded place in a tropical haven
environment, friendly staff, setting, rustique/romantic rooms, wow pool!
9.7
what can i say about this place? the picture dont do justice, you really have to come to this place. a tropical retreat with great friendly staff who accomodate your every needs.
the rooms are very unique thai style with outdoor showers and very very spacious bed and perfect room arrangement. you even have your own private balcony with lazy day bed
the pool is just wow!! unbelievable, lookin toward the phang nga bay and the koh yao noi. thes place is definitely one the best and greatest experience you can have in thai
Restaurant Tip:
there's only 1 place to eat, one restaurant only. dont even think of going outside the resort to get food, because its just a small backwater village with local people. however, the food is great value and taste wise is very acceptable thai style food with international selection. breakfast are made to order and very nice selection indeed

Great resort in isolated and quiet location.
8.3
this is a great newbuild resort in a beautiful location. there a not any other resorts near it. bungalows are still being build, so be aware if booking. but we stayed there for 3 nights and did not notice it. the hotel returant is the only one close by and it is more expensive than mainland resturants - but very nice. rooms are great! don't go there for the beach. we went in low season and pretty much had the huge pool to ourselves..
