Terrific hotel with wonderful staff
The staff made us all feel very special, adults and kids alike.

from the moment we walked into the lobby, the staff were so very friendly and accommodating, making it a marvelous stay. upon entry, you get the lovely cool face towels and then you select your room scent; who doesn't like feeling like you're a star? then, the excellent manager took my kids to the adjacent library to select some dvds while we filled out the paperwork. the complimentary restocked minibar brought a real smile to my husband's face...breakfast was excellent with great cappuccinos and chocolate croissants, egg station etc. i could sit and linger over the paper while the kids jumped in the pool. and even though it is in the center of patong, once you close the door to your room, you actually don't hear it! access to the beach is very easy, just out the back door. some say patong is not for kids, but if you like small boutique hotels and you stay at la flora, you will change your mind.

Have a drink or dinner on the rooftop bar/restaurant.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Arranging day tours at the local area or with your hotel is very easy and might save you some money.

Limited twin rooms, so we only got the one on the second floor exactly fronting the restaurant. Not much privacy there.
If you want privacy, dont get rooms near the restaurant.
In terms of location -excellent ! Few minutes walk from the restaurants, shopping, clubs etc. Has beachfront too.
Staff super friendly and super efficient. - Top marks !!
Very happy with my stay there.

Beautiful hotel, an absolute gem!

This resort is extremely close to all the action, but is suprisingly, a peaceful place to stay!
Outside the front door is the maze of shops, markets, restaurants, and nightlife, and outside your back door is the beach.
There is no reserved beachside for guests, and you have to pay for your sunlounger, but this beach is lovely.
The rooms are amazing, they are clean and comfortable, and the pool is beautiful.

Hotel would suit any discerning guest, business leisure or honeymoon. Really lovely property - right on the beach. Access to shopping and bars & close enough to sample them without having a long trip. Rooms were quiet. Food excellent & service staff were all good.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't plan on staying too long. Patong is really totally over saturated with same same bars shops & aggressive desperate traders. 2 nights was more than enough. The beach is nice & the hotel a relaxing oasis

La Flora Hotel provides a great 5* hotel close to the action in Patong, Phuket. Hotel is excellent with great pool and friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent.

This is the 3rd time that we spent our holidays in La Flora, the price for the pool access room has rise and was higher than 2 years ago. However, the service is still good for the hotel, staff are nice and it's really convenient.

We stayed in an ocean view suite which was great. The staff are great - thanks for the surprise birthday cake, guys!
Bit disappointed with the breakfast buffet and that the 'Egg Station' couldn't cook a fresh poached egg.

Reflection on Stay at La Flora Phuket

I was there with my partner for 4 days. Great hotel - modern, greets with a smile, clean, ample drinking water, good breakfast spread, and nice service touches e.g. a small bottle of mineral water to greet you goodnight. Most of all, it is in a great location - easily accessible to all parts of Patong beach.
Was disappointed with the gym; it is far too small. Could offer a "serious gym" alternative with an outside provider. Our toilet was also stucked on the first morning and the staff took awhile to come and solve the problem.
Overall, I would recommend La Flora. It is a nice small hotel with overall good feel and nice service touches.
Restaurant Tip:
"Number 6" restaurant offers great value meals with authentic Thai food!
