on the beach and so much more
on the beach, great ammenities, fun pool with a great water slide, happy hour daily at different hotel restaraunts, free hobie cat rentals,

Great hotel with lots of ammenities. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and there was so much to do here it made travelling a breeze. The kids enjoyed free hobie cat rentals, kayaking, archery and the large pool and waterslide. Free padded beach lounges and umbrellas made our days on the beach enjoyable. Also there are 2 great restaraunts nearby, The Black Cat and Chabba's which offer free hotel pick-up and return if you eat there. The food is wornderful and at a fraction of the cost of the hotel. Great trip to phi phi island booked from hotel...don't miss it. Hotel offers happy hour at different restaraunts at different times which is nice...just make sure you verify the time..our watch said 6pm but hotel said it was 5:59 and charged us full price for our first round of drinks. We complained and the changed the bill but it did take quite a bit of convincing to get them to change it. Fantastic time in Phuket

Probably stay somewhere else next time

We stayed here for 2 nights after 8 wonderfull nights at Khao Lak. The idea was to spend our last 2 nights close to Phuket Airport. I suppose after great experiences at 2 hotels in Khao Lak we expected the same here. On arrival in a taxi, no-one came out to assist, we did it ourselves. We where eventually greeted by an Australian staff on intern from Sydney, what is wrong with giving the jobs to local Thai people? The room was OK but smallest TV I have seen in a long time, the taxi driver had a larger DVD screen in his car. WiFi was charged and costly, has been free at the last 6 hotels we have been at.
Apart from that we had a good relaxing time, there are many beach "shack" restaurants, bars where we spent a lot of time. the beach is nice and clear and OK to swim. Pool is large and good, breakfast OK. My wife loved seeing the baby Elephant walking around the grounds and doing tricks.
