Laguna Holiday Club Phuket Resort, Phuket

This is a great resort for families and I guess the price reflects the service you receive. Being reasonably new the room was nice and clean. While some of the staff stood out with friendly help most had forgotten to take their happy pills. The check in and check out process was painfully slow.

A complete Holiday package, as the complex has all ingredients of any Top of the line Holiday Resort. Further, all these facilities are well maintained and the staff is courteous and very helpful. Transportation and security arrangement with in the entire complex is very well managed. It is worth visiting again and again as it has so much to offer that one visit is not enough.

The hotel has very helpful front desk staff and the rooms are large, airy and well appointed. Ours faced onto the children's play area but was far enough to not be distracting. It was also reasonably cose to the pool area which incorporates a large water slide. Breakfast was from 7am to 11am and the selections were quite good and varied each day. There is no internet in the rooms but free wifi is available in the reception/ dining area. A free shuttle is provided which gives access to other hotels in the Laguna area and to the beach. This runs frequently and until relatively late in the evening. We were in Laguna to play golf and the hotel overlooks the 17th fairway of the Laguna Golf Course which, like all courses in Phuket, is very scenic but it is not as challenging as some of the others, notably Red Mountain. When we were leaving, our flight was an evening departure and we were offered a free late checkout up to 3pm or an additional half day rate for checkout at 6pm which I thought quite reasonable. I would certainly go back to this hotel for any future stays in Phuket.

The Holiday Club is like a "newly built Allamanda" in Laguna Phuket. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We used to be "the Allamanda fan" but we moved to Holiday Club this time because of the fully equipped kitchen. Surprisingly we found the foods at the restaurant in Holiday Club was very good so we ended up spending a lot of mealtimes there. There are two things we would like to complain about which we didn't experience the same in Allamanda. First, the room cleaning service. After cleaning the room is not really clean especially the dishes and floors. Everyday they forgot something like the fresh towels which we needed to call the reception to get them afterward. It was kind of annoying in a holiday. Second, the unfriendly staff on the reception. We didn't feel welcome on the arrival because of the staff's attitude. When we checked out they gave us the same feeling again. We asked for a late checkout after a long stay in this hotel three days in advance before the checkout date. The girl on the reception showed us a very unpleasant face and then talked on the phone in Thai for a long time, then told us to ask at the reception again the next day. We just felt that doesn't meet the standard of a hotel in Laguna area. But all other staff in this hotel are friendly and helpful. Overall we were very happy about our stay. It is also a very family friendly hotel when you come with your kids.

Convenience of fully equipped rooms with good kitchen full kitchen equipment. Ideal for a family to a swimming pool, playing field for children. R ครับ good new hotel.A fairly early. Receptionist. Environments to be unattractive because it is not much beach. Room accommodation adjacent to the golf course just to make the suspicion that the ball hit รึเปล่า.
