Private beach and great gym. Limited service and very little attention to detail. Upon arrival at 3:30 PM we were told our room would not be available until 4. Check in is at 2 PM. Not something you want to hear after a long flight from the UK. The bartenders acted like they were doing you a favor when making drinks. I have never had such bad mixed drinks. Seriously, this was such a disappointment. There is no waiter service on the beach which is a shame. They boast 10 restaurants, but there are really only 4 and they are not all open at lunch and there is only one choice for breakfast. The beach towels were badly worn and mine had a mess of dried blood on it. Often the lifeguards were not paying attention to the beach or even seated on their chairs. When I used items from the mini-bar, they were not replaced the next day.
Restaurant Tip : There are many great restaurants near the hotel, I recommend The Boathouse (420 bhat cab ride) or The 9th Floor (Patong, 300 bhat cab ride).

Nice food and great pools and amazing beach. All though a great palce to stay I feel the outside of the hotel could use a face lift. We loved the beach so close to the hotel and the pools are great. Food was good and breakfast was the highlight. We would certainly come back..
Travel tip : The hotel defanately needs a face lift.

I thought the beach was the best feature of the hotel, you don't have people trying to sell you useless stuff all day when you're trying to relax. The hotel service was outstanding, they always seemed to know who we were and were very attentive to our needs. If you don't use the hotel taxi service getting an alternative ride can take some time. If you're staying at this hotel you can afford it. The hotel was much more that I expected, the staff was excellent in helping us plan our daily activities (if needed) and followed up with the various tour groups to make sure we were happy with our results. The variety of food for the breakfast is well thought out to accommodate most guests. I found the hotel beach to be the best on Phuket without all the clutter found on the more public beaches. I would gladly stay here again if ever returning to this part of Thailand.
Hotel Feature Tip : You don't have to look any further that the front of the hotel to find the best beach in Phuket.
