more tips. we recommend the following places. for eating, uptown restaurant, or market. walk out of the hotel and turn right, turn left on the first traffic light, walk straight and you can see the restaurant in the next traffic light. it closed every wednesday and every 17-19 (not sure). so, good luck. the girl with a pda is very nice and she can speak fluent english, she knows more words about food than us. you pay 40-60b on average on each meal. drinks are nice and cheap, shakes are good.
for massage, turn right when you see uptown. you will first see a shop selling fruit, nice people there too. look left you can see shino spa. we went there twice a week. and the body and shoulders, foot massage, are good.
travel tips. bus is cheap, if you have money, skip this. there are bus 1 close to the road where 7-11 located. you can see the banner, a pink one. it can take u to the market, see view point, central festival, and other places. airport bus, it's in the bus terminal and it takes u to air port for 85b. more, it takes u to other places too, such as central. and it runs very late. get a timetable from lub sbuy.

nice hotel located in the town. we feel living at home and enjoy our stay in phuket very much. you can try traditional thai noodle downstairs for only 40b.
Shopping Tip:
You can take buses to central festival to satisfy most of your shopping wishes. And enjoy Starbucks coffee there.

we were really happy with our stay at this guesthouse. The room was something you would expest from a 3 star hotel. we were only there for one night as we were getting the bus the following morning. The bus station is literally right around the corner. Excellent hotel for this purpose.

there is no lift in this guesthouse but we were lucky to get a room on the ground floor. the room and toilet were clean with well function aircon and tv. the main bus terminal was just a 5min walk away. ocean and robinson shopping malls were also nearby, about 15-20mins walk. in the evening, roadside stalls were setup just in front of the guesthouse. highly recommended is the stall serving local thai dishes. we had tasty and delicious tomyum soup, frog legs, clams and crispy pork rice at very reasonable prices. thai massage parlours can also be found near the hotel. overall, this guesthouse is value for money.
Nightlife Tip:
Night time activity is rather quiet in Phuket town so having a relax dinner by the roadside is recommended with cold beer.

we spent 2 nights here in double bed room with balcony. That's perfect stay!!
The hotel is near to bus station(to go other cities eg.Phang Nga , Khao Lak, etc). It's new furnished room with air conditioner, hot water, fridge, comfy double bed.
Its location is perfect. You can rent motorbike from hotel and go around the city. From Phuket Airport, the bus shuttle bus can drop u in front of the hotel.
There is no elevator but it's not gonna be a big problem.
That's worth for your money!!!
Restaurant Tip:
small food store in front of hotel is fabulous!!!

We stayed there for just a night on our way to PP.
Got there late, the staff was really nice, our room was clean and looked clean and had proper furniture.
Slept well, left happy.
One thing I would ask them to change and this did not bother us because we had to get up early... the curtain is thin and lots of light comes right through it. If you were staying there the whole day and wanted to sleep this would bother me.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
buy the boat tickets to pp at your hotel or travel agent. at the pier they are 600!!! everywhere else 300 and up.
