The room was beautiful, we stayed in one of the private pool rooms and it was great. Stayed with my wife and an infant, 9 month old. They provided a cot for my infant. Bed was big and nice. The area is very quiet as not much things around which suited us fine. If your looking for bars and nightlife, this is not the place. Overall, we like the place as it suited us, rooms are beautiful and staff are very friendly. Foodwise its a tad on the pricey side and the charge for taxi back to hotel was also a killer.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are big, nice, clean: we have a pool terrace room, which comes with a small private pool, for a very good value for money.
The spa is very good.
The food could be improved with very limited choice for lunch, and not much choice outside the hotel, as it is in a remote place. No room service

The room, hotel design, facility and service were all outstanding. Just the location is really out of reach from the main street. Far away from the town and tourist attractions. Anyway, they have their own private beach which is really nice and clean. good place for relax and watching the sunrise and sunset.

The hotel is completely deserted, which means no village/bars/restaurants nearby.
However, if you want to relax, lay by the pool & enjoy the beach all to yourself,then this is the place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go for a walk down the beach at sunset & grab a cocktail at the poolbar!

Remote Location, Excellent Service

We've just returned from a weekend gateaway to Maikhao Dream Resort Natai. Although the resort is quite remote with nothing around, they provide a daily free shuttle to the nearby local town where we can get some local food and stock up from supermarket. The price for the hotel restaurant is a bit high in Thai standard, but the quality and service is excellent.

Pang nga hotel
quiet and private beach front hotel

I reserved this hotel by mistake, thought this one is the same location as MaiKhao dream hotel in Phuket at MaiKhao Beach. But this hotel is in Pang Nga provience which I had to cross bridge to get outside of Phuket, althought 10 miniutes drive from the bridge.
Hotel is nice private beach front and quiet, but the section of entrance road still underconstruction, so a bit difficult to drive during the rainy season cause there are many mud puddies along the way.
But the hotel and the rooms are very nice, new and very clean. Best value for money.
This hotel is further away from city, so better rent a car to go there. Taxi to go to Phuket city is around 1,200-1,800 THB.

hotel is quite far from phuket, it is in phungnga not anymore phuket but once you reach hotel you will be forget how far it is. it is very clean, nice and very welcome hotel staff. i arrived hotel very late, have less time to stay. so sad
