Very nice hideaway hotel right on the Surin beach. We arrived to Manathai right from Bangkok and it was perfect place to take the time off and just relax. Very cool interiors, clean, good value for money. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Boutique Hotel

Good location although no sea views, rooms are spacious, well appointed and tastefully designed. They have nice balconies overlooking the small but nice pool. Breakfast is served in a nice room and the offerings are tasty and plentiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The transfer costs and day trips booked through the hotel are expensive so arrange these privately.A good hotel which I'd happily stay at again.

I would go back there any day... Actually I am going back there in few weeks and that is how much I think of the place. However I still think that it is a bit over priced when you can get the same for a bit less just around the corner. never the less I think it is worth it

Good location in Surin, but zero view from room

My fiance and I travelled to Phuket in early Oct 10, we decided to start off from Surin and hop around the beaches of our selections. We rented a sedan and drove to the hotel. The hotel was not hard to locate with the provided GPS. Upon arriving we were greeted with a smile by the staff. Things turn from good to bad when we entered the room, I found fallen hair on the bed sheet, a lot of it and it was blonde! The aircon couldnt blow lower than 28 Celcius. Things turn from bad to worse when I used the toilet, to my horror I saw a worm lingering on the toilet bowl before my eyes! We immediately requested for a change of room. The receptionist lady was very unresponsive and slow in attending to us, we waited for the whole 90 mins. Finally, we were moved to another room where the bedlights did not work, but we decided to make peace with it.
I am going to close it with compliments now :) Surin beach is just a 5-min walk from the hotel, the breakfast buffet was delicious, hotel and room interiors are gorgeous.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you are driving, please make sure you tell the staff to reserve a parking spot for you. Otherwise, you would not be able to park your car in the hotel at all. It can only fit around 6 cars at one time.

Decent hotel
The hotel is beautiful and the staff were as helpful as they could be

at first we got the courtyard suite, which was really pretty. we entered and someone had broken a bottle of eucalyptus oil and the smell was overwhelming! when i asked to switch to another room, they had me open the doors and wait to see if it got better. finally, we got put in a different room. this next room was decorated nicely, but the shower was a mess. when we showered, the wall didnt cover enough area so the bathroom floor was literally soaked. we had minor problems, and overall everything was nice. you can tell mgmt is really trying to re-vamp this hotel. breakfast was really nice!
