Wonder time at Manathai
Excellent service, fast & easy check-in & check-out. Beautiful and tranquil setting, very exotic and authentic. Quite & total privacy. Nice and cosy bedroom.

The setting is just unspeakable! We loved it every moment of our stay. The private pool of our pool suite was with total privacy, the ambient was romantic & terrific. Sipping wine, soaking in the pool under the star light with light music - just imagine that ! There was total privacy and you can go naked in the water, at the patio for sunbathe. Wouldn't you like to be at the place with your loved one spending the sweetest moment?
The service staff were fantastic and exceptionally friendly. No husstle Check-in & check-out as we had done our booking through Agodo in advance. It's so convenient when all you want is to hit to your hotel bedroom after a long flight!
The beach is beautiful, not crowded but full of romance especially as you watch the sun settings by the beach. I liked the food and the owesome services rendered to us at the bars and restaurant by the beach. Even the dogs are friendlier.

We only stayed for one night and it was a lovely stopover. The rooms are nice and tidy + the beach is only 2mins walk away. In the morning we were spoilt for choice at their breakfast buffet which is a great way to start your day.

the manathai is a great hotel with friendly staff and a great location also.
the rooms are some of the best i have ever stayed in, bed comfy and room BIG,pool nice also.
2 mins from surin beach is a big plus and area in genaral is very nice.
i took my parents there and they loved it !!
go you will not be disapointed

Good value in a nice area
The hotel looks lovely and is good value for money. Staff are very helpful and the location is close to the beach with a beach club. Rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated

Overall the hotel is nice. It looks good and comes at a good price. This is not a hotel for kids. The pools are not particulalry kid-friendly and nearby surin beach, while delightful, can have big waves and has a steep dip to the water. Staff at the Manathai are very helpful but the service can be hit and miss. There seem to be staff everywhere except when you need to ask for something!

Restaurants on beach are lovely.

Choices are between several types of rooms including pool villas that are no bigger than basic hotel rooms with no living/seating area. The small pool is for cooling off, the wooden table and chairs at the pool are old and uncomfortable.Buffet breakfast was a high point, lots of choices as you would expect for a resort like this. Dinner service was somewhat slow and unfriendly, staff seems to disappear at times and one has to go look for them. In general at the price paid one can do better in and around Kamala

Wonderful boutique hotel on relatively calm and uncrowded (by Phuket standards) Surin beach. Restorant offers excellent food however menu is not the longest I have seen in Thailand. We had juniour suite and room had everything you need for relaxed holiday, staff was kind and helpful.

love the service and the staff here and the feeling of the hotel...... everyone was so gracious and helpful...... if i was visiting here would have no problem returning coming back... plse note that i have been traveling in thailnad for 7 weeks now .... this does not mean surin is the ideal place for me

We arrived at Phuket airport at around 11pm expecting a transfer which had been confirmed via email, however no one turned up. I rang the hotel to ask where it was and they said I had never booked it. Not the best start. I arrived at the hotel in a taxi and showed the receptionist the confirmation email on my phone, and she kind of giggled, needless to say I was less than impressed.
Apart from this the staff were generally poor, not very attentive and the level of English was very poor. Hotel though was lovely

Very nice experience, Manathai lies in a quiet area out of the main stream backpackers which for me was a blessing. Service is good, beach club very good. I would go back!

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. Rooms were well maintained and I appreciated the large bathroom with walk in shower. There was good arrangemnt of lights in the room and it was very quiet at night. Great breakfasts with good variety of dishes and friendly staff in the dining room. Close to the beach front and shops.
