We booked it direct online because staff at the hotel suggested it would be cheaper and it was.
Staff was friendly and gave us pool view room, the hotel is built next to river which smells abit but it wasn't an issue as our room didn't face that way. We had dinner outside, and we were the only couple that dine there. I can see why, as placing meat outside and we did see bugs helping themselves to uncooked seafood. The meal was good as it was cooked bbq style. We were happy with it was my partner didn't want to risk dinning outside of the hotel. it would have helped for the staff to have some insect repellent for guest dinning outside, would be my suggestion.

I have stayed there 2 times roughly may last year 2012 and april this year 2013, not alot has changed, but i did find some of the service not good and not very helpful. the location is great in respect from shops and food places.

I was booked the airport pickup through the reservation hotline. The staff is friendly and the price is reasonable. Everything is good. Just like what Accor hotel group usually do.

It was a peak season in Phuket during my stay in Mercure and i found everythings was go smooth during the check in and check out,and the hotel staff also always in smiling face and patient mode to help the guest.

Stayed for 2 nights during Songkran. The staff ensured water activities didn't encroach on customer privacy. The pool rooms were a little noisy at times, (second floor)but only during the day. Staff happily provided an umbrella for me to exchange money at the front of the hotel - it actually had a better exchange rate than the hotel. I'd stay again, but not in a pool room on the lower levels,(please note I was studying at the time)

A let down. Below expectations.

I expected a good hotel, however the experience i had was poor. There was a booking discrepency with that of Agoda and the hotel and there was no effort on the part of the hotel to resolve it. Airport transfer to airport was provided at THB1,250 when it is THB600 only. Agoda had asked for if airport trasnfer is needed but the hotel staff claimed no knowledge of that and insisted that I pay.

Good location, walking distance (10 min) to Patong Beach & shops. The pool is nice, but there is no other outdoor facilities. The rooms are clean but not large enough.
The staff are friendly & cooperative.
