The moment we got to the Millennium resort we immediately felt relaxed. Staff are helpful and are willing to tender to any needs. The breakfast is lovely and the cabana pool access rooms are the way to go. Great hotel and will be staying there again on our next visit to Phuket

A Tale of Two Hotels
Millennium Phuket (Lakeside) - sleek, attractive room decor, quiet, good buffet breakfast included with room fee, good pool, gym, attached to large shopping center and close to all restaurants, nightlife, etc.

The Millennium Phuket is located in Patong Beach, the most active (and wild) resort area on the island of Phuket. The hotel is actually two hotels - the Lakeside and the Beachside, since they don't actually physically connect. Their themes are different as night and day as well.
The Lakeside rooms have sleek, oriental-inspired dark mahogany wood trim and accents. Very impressive and sexy. It has a very large pool with a gym located conveniently alongside in an air conditioned glass fronted room. Evenings, there is a very robust seafood buffet and barbeque for as reasonable a price as you would pay to the many seafood restaurants that are in the main section of Patong Beach. The Lakefront rooms are away from the noisy main street and the open-air reception lobby is impressive as you arrive. Service and housekeeping are excellent.
By contrast, the Beachside half of the hotel, which is located on the main street and very close to Bangla Street where the night-time action is at its peak (think Mardi-Gras on steroids!). The Beachside rooms are in white with pastel shades and give off a faintly 1960s/70s impression. They also appear to have skimped on some of the nice touches in the Lakeside rooms. The rooms are close to the street so lots of noise. The pool is smaller than the Lakeside pool and there is no gym in the Beachside half - you have to go to the Lakeside gym. The lobby is much larger than the Lakeside lobby, and has a bar/lounge in it and a well-placed business center/internet cafe in one corner of the lobby. Service and housekeeping is uniformly as good.
Both hotels have the same robust breakfast buffet (in different rooms) and it is included in the cost of the room - a welcome value! Both hotels connect to the JungCeylon shopping mall, a multi-segmented labyrinth of shops, restaurants and even a multiplex. The pros around this hotel would be around location, shopping, staff, room sizes & general hotel conditions/features which were all of a high standard.

Overall the Millennium Hotel provided a platform for a great experience in Phuket (Patong). The hotel checked all the boxes & exceeded our initial expectation. The hotels selling points would be location, pools, shopping, accessibility, service, staff & conditions. We left very satisfied with our experience at the Millennium Hotel & would recommend the hotel to visitors of the area. Food & Dinning could present more value for money however there are plenty of alternatives near by.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Lakeside pool is a lot busier as opposed to the Beachside pool which is just as good.

Very nice
Room is very modern. Shower was big enough to give a cow a clean. Breakfast buffet was massive and very nice. Pool was large. Location is fantastic, right next to the jungceylon shopping centre and at the end of bangla road.

Perfect location, right next to Jungceylon shopping centre and 5 minutes from bangla road where all the bars are. There are two hotels, lakeside and beachside, and we stayed in lakeside which is set further back from the main road. Pool was quite large and clean, and there were very few patrons using it. Nearly all hotel provided services were massively overblown compared to the price on the street. We booked a tour for less than half the price the hotel quoted us. However the rooms themselves were luxurious, and the shower was big enough for a whole family! A nice place to stay.

WE had a great stay, its not beachfront so you should get the cabana room with the pool access otherwise you'll be bored.
We had a great stay nonetheless, happy with everything, especially the nice smiley staff. Definitely recommendable.
Nightlife Tip:
Right by Bangla Road, where all the actions are. Some really fancy restaurant are great. Expect to spend about at least 4000 Bath for dinner with no drinks though.

Great location, adjacent to shopping mall and excellent array of restaurants.

Superior room is large and pleasant. Bed is comfortable. We stayed in the room facing the main street and at times it was very noisy. Swimming pool is very small. Staff was very pleasant. The biggest problem was odour.
Hotel is just a short stroll to the main street and all the action.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern. The pool on the 4th floor was beautiful and very well done with excellent service. We ordered food by the pool that was quickly served and delicious and never waited for a cold beer. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Location is great, right next to the best shopping and entertainment in Patong.
