Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

A hotel for shopping lovers
excellent location, just next to the biggest shopping mall.

The hotel is new and very clean but it was still under decoration, they were painting the ceiling and the floor at the lobby; water leaked out from the glass wall of the bathroom which made the corridor inside slippery. However, staff were very helpful to deal with the water leakage problem.
Travel tip:
the official yellow taxi is cheaper than tuktuk, remember to ask for a name card for a return trip to the airport

I will stay there again
It is joined up with the Jungceylon Mall.

I enjoyed my stay at the Millenium Phuket! The price I had paid for it was fair. Its not situated on or by the beach. Its inland (10mins stroll to the beach) and intergrated with the Jungceylon shopping centre, (THE shopping centre in phuket). The hotel is new & clean and service was good. The room had some flaws - im not a big fan of the "open concept bathroom" - the sink was in the hallway. And, Although the WC is private enough (as in, it has its own doors) , the glass encased shower is divided only by wooden blinds from the bedroom. Not so great if you are a new couple!
Shopping Tip:
After the shopping centre closes, you can only use the hotel entrance.

Was there mid 2008. The condition of the hotel is new and the rooms are well maintained. The reception staff are warm and helpful. I liked that the hotel is connected to the main shopping centre there. So, i didnt mind that it did not have beach frontage. The rooms are quite small and did not have a quality layout. The wash basin is not in the toilet area, but is in the middle of the hallway! However, if i do return i will re-stay there..
Nightlife Tip:
A must see is the "simon cabaret" show

raining everyday, hotel provides umbrella in every room.
Travel tip:
the 'tuk tuk' or taxi is overpriced, make sure check out local rate before jumping into one. taxi from airport is THB550(normal rate), and hotel to airport is slightly expensive due to different route, however u can get at around THB600-800(max).

How to make new loook old

The housekeeping is very poor with no eye for detail. The mirrors and surfaces were filthy. The hotel looks like it was built to a budget and many materials will not last the test of time.

It is clear to see that money has been spent on this hotel but the finished work is just not good enough! When we first arrived at this hotel it seemed to appear very grand however during our stay we noticed many flaws in the design and finish of this hotel that unfortunately affected our stay e.g. changed room once due to faulty toilet. Staff seemed very out of their depth and I could see that a lot of them were cutting corners e.g. bed linen not changed. Our stay here was filled with troubles one after another.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Cut through side entrance of hotel which leads to Carrefour and other shops including spa/beauty treatment outlets and Robinsons.

Quite upset with the staff

The hotel should train their staff - if they can't do the job just don't offer the valet service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Near shopping center
