We loved the location of the hotel in Patong Beach. It is centrally located, within five minutes walking distance to the beach, right next door to a good shopping plaza.
We stayed in the Lakeside of the hotel, the lobby is open without any air condition. It is hot and humid while waiting for check-in or waiting for tour bus.
Overall, we were happy with the hotel and the accommodation. The main reason for choosing this hotel was its location. It is close to the beach and all different shopping experience. At the same time, it is away from all the crowd at night (our accommodation was on the Lakeside). We had a group of 8 people. They were nice enough to trying to put two connecting rooms in two different levels. It worked really well for us. However, the lobby area and the hallways are out in the open air; therefore, it is really hot when stepping out of the room, check-in and waiting for tour bus. The breakfast is really good as well- different selection of asian and american food, cereal and breads...etc.

Quiet, relaxing, nice pool, centrally located, can spend the whole holiday walking everywhere.
Restaurant, lobby is all open ie. no air conditioning and gets a bit wet when it rains
The Millenium was a great choice to stay in phuket. i stayed there with my family and boyfriend and we all had a great time. it is conveniently connected to the main shopping centre in patong so it was easy to unload shopping bags and go back for round two. there are heaps of great restaurants within walking distance which is handy. The hotel is also walking distance to bangla road, the centre of nightlife in patong. we stayed in the lakeside wing (which i would reccommend)so its central location was not tainted by load noice pollution or anything like that. all in all i had a really great experience at the Millenium

Excellent pool and gymnasium
Immaculate rooms, with all the features one would expect.
Impressive building - a great place to relax and read with a cup of tea.
An excellent breakfast buffet.
Adjoins the Jung Ceylon shopping centre.
Having to pay for internet use in a 5 star hotel!
In the beachside building, music can be heard from Sound (the club in the Jung Ceylon centre) in some of the rooms.
Right in the centre of Patong, the hotel still manages to retain an air of tranquility. It adjoins the Jung Ceylon shopping mall, so you never have to go far for a wide variety of shops and places to eat. The beach is just a few minutes away on foot, though I would still recommend the Lakeside over the Beachside building, as the pool is much larger and it also has the fitness suite. If you do stay in the Beachside building, make sure you are not staying in the rooms facing the Jung Ceylon mall, as music can often be heard playing there - all very well if you're about to go out, but not if you want restful sleep!

close to shooping mall, good food, comfortable rooms
We enjoyed our stays at this Hotel. It was close to a good shopping mall where we could easily get our needs, fill our stomach from variety restaurants and entertain ourselves with games and arcades. We got good rest on comfortable beds and sofas. The food served for breakfast was good and fresh. Only one thing, the rate was too high for this kind of hotel.
Shopping Tip : If you get bored with the beach, you can be spend your day in a good shopping mall.

The hotel is walking distance to the shopping, entertainment and food & beverage outlets in Patong and yet retains the tranquility required for a holiday, as it is off the main drag. Staff were courteous and helpful and overall service was very efficient. We had room service one night and the food was delicious and still warm when we got it and it was very reasonably priced. We spent two days at the spa and what can I say...it was blissful. Our room was sufficiently spacious and overlooked the pool so we could sit out on the balcony for a quiet drink at night. Even during the day when the pool was opened, we were not disturbed by any noise (which I expected )from the pool. The hotel is connected to JungCeylon, a big shopping mall, so it was really convenient for a spot of shopping if you want a break from haggling with the street vendors. The Baanzar Market which comes alive about 6 pm is packed with vendors peddling local food and we had absolutely delicious and authentic Phad Thai and Beef Noodles for 40Bht per serving.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Baanzar Night Market for great local food - Beef Noodles and Phad Thai

Good convenient location with easy access to beach, food and shopping
No bath tub in room despite being a 5 star hotel. Need to walk to lakeside block for gym if staying at the beachside hotel. Note that beachside hotel is not actually bybthe beach
This is a comfortable hotel in a good location for easy access to the beach and patong nightlife. Also, being next to jungceylon shopping complex, there are plenty of restaurants and shops within easy reach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel however does not score well in the luxury stakes. With no bath tub in the rooms and simple rectangular pools.

Outstanding concierge and room service. Pristine rooms, clean atmosphere. Great great gym and pool facilities.
Shower is challenging to use without spilling everything. Getting details right is a challenge from English to Thai.
The Millenium Hotel is a beautiful place to stay at in Phuket. It is walking distance to the beaches and bars so everything is easily accessible. Our group arranged excursions with ease. The service staff and concierge were helpful and prompt and met all of our needs. The pool and gym were clean and well equipped, and the rooms were a pleasure to stay in. The Millenium retrieved our lost luggage from Bangkok quickly and easily.
My one concern is if there is a miscommunication with Millenium and you are an English speaker, it will be difficult and frustrating to get that across. We ran into trouble removing a cot from our room, and they had no record of it so it was a challenge to get our money back, but we did.
Other than that, I would recommend the Millenium to anyone interested in a relaxing stay in Phuket.
Shopping Tip : Name your price at any of the stores around the area. If you don't get what you want for at least half off, you can walk away and get it elsewhere or they will immediately drop the price for you.

- Very near to the night life (3min walk) and beach (5min walk)
- Access to Jungceylon is a +++
- Safe, quiet and comfortable resort despite being in the centre of everything
- Bathroom is not well-designed - water leak to the toilet's floor after each shower
- Air-conditioner is too cold for comfort and sleep. Fortunately, the staff provided an additional blanket upon request
- No room service after 2230hr
We stayed in the Grand Deluxe Room. Wish we have booked the Cabana Room instead. Nevertheless, great room - clean, comfortable and safe room with nice balcony facing the pool. Love the accessibility to Fuji, GrandCanyon and more importantly Carrefour. Will definitely stay in this hotel again but this time, Cabana Room it shall be - the ease to jump into the pool without stepping out of your room is absolutely fantastic.
Kudos to the team who run the breakfast everyday in the restaurant. For 5 consecutive mornings, their services have been consistently excellent despite the hotel is fully booked during the period of Christmas and New Year.

Attached to a shopping mall and several resturants.
Beach Wing was not good and rooms and complete wing looked much older than the other wing
We stayed in a junior suite at the beach side wing. The pool was much smaller than the other wing and the rooms were newer with better interior than the beach side wing. Hotel is walking distance to patong beach and the breakfast was good. Overall service was good and the hotel looked new.

Secure grounds, instant access to large shopping centre, good breakfast included
Noisy on lover floors, less kids friendly
The millenium hotel is a good place to stay in the heart of Patong, esp if you are young and active. The palce has secure grounds, instant access to large Jungceylon shopping centre; and good breakfast was included. Try getting to the Lakeside half of the hotel - less noisy there. Two good pools, but not so kids friendly.
Shopping Tip : Go to lowest floor in sopping centrefor best prices

It is adjacent to the biggest mall in Phuket and has a lot of eating options
Too far from the beach. The wash basin is in the room and not in the toilet which did not give a good feeling
The hotel is expensive from Thailand standard and is away from the beach. The rooms have a private balcony which is a plus but the interiors looked old. No LCD TV or DVD in the room. The breakfast options were good even for a vegetarian. Another plus of the hotel was its swimming pool and the facility of providing towels for the beach. The staff was courteous and helpful. All in all the hotel was good but did not provide good value for money.
