Great menu, fantastic beach side resort and breathe taking view of the sunset, accommodating and friendly English speaking staff, free wifi and fresh fruits delivered everyday to your room is wonderful, and mostly it's quiet. Cleanliness of the sheets and bed (bedbugs), no free shuttle bus to airport, the hotel should feature evening entertainment like singers or musicians, breakfast menu isn't so fantastic. Mom Tri's boathouse is exactly what we were expecting in a secluded beach resort in Phuket. It's quiet, beautiful, and truly relaxing. Their menu of activities on the Directory helped us a lot on what activities we can do while in Phuket. The view from the balcony on our room is amazing and the service is great. We got the hotel promo rates so definitely it's worth every penny and more. Would want to stay here again in the future.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you book your tours at least one day ahead, the directory on each room is very helpful and can be used as a price comparison for other tour services. Cabs are very expensive in Phuket so it would be better if you travel with friends so you can share the fares and the fun moments. :)

The location at Kata Beach which is not too crowded
The restaurant with open air, no need for AC
The food, must be best food on Phuket island, good enough for a Michelin star.

Not enough information on the dangers of undercurrents which drags you out when swimming The location directly on the beach, Kata beach which is 2/3 of a circle shaped, not very crowded beach. The staff of this hotel have been properly trained for top class service. The food and the wine selection must be the best available on Phuket island, outstanding. The restaurant is decorated in a maritim style, no AC, but with ceiling fans and seabreeze as doors/windows are kept open.
Hotel Feature Tip : You won't find better food and wine (value for money) elsewhere on the island

Service, wine list, beach view & access lack of Reception staff's understanding of english We found mom tri's to be friendly and very clean. The location is ideal with direct beach access and views. We also enjoyed the fact that we were away from Patong and enjoyed the quieter nature of Kata as it had everything we needed. We would definitley consider returning.
The reason I under rated the staff was that we had 2 misunderstandings due to thier lack of english this did impact on bookings I had made.
Shopping Tip : Be weary of being told you have won prizes by street hawkers - you haven't they want to sell you something, it would have been nice to have been warned about this......
