Pro's:
- Great Location
- Great Service
- Great Complex
- Great Breakfast
- Sylvia
Con's:
- Building Work On-Site,
- Staff make small commission's on Taxi's, bikes ,etc (not a major gripe),
- Far from Airport.
This was an excellent start to our honeymoon. I booked due to the great reviews and was over joyed with the result. On arrival they had flower petals in the words of "happy honeymoon" all over the bed and in the bath tub, this was a lovely opener to this lovely hotel. The hotel photos online does not do the hotel justice, as trees are covering the facade of the building, but the hotel is built around the southern cliff face at Kata Noi Beach. And what an excellent spot it is, great restaurants all around. Also lovely touch of a complimetary afternoon snack, sticky rice pudding (yummy!).
Don't thik twice, just do it!
Travel tip : Look no further this is the one!

Accommodation and decor, excellent cuisine and friendliness of service.
None - If you are concerned about value for money then although it may be a few extra Baht, Dollar, Pound, Euro or whatever here...You will leave knowing exactly where it went to and feel satisfied.
Luxury accommodation with stunning breath-taking views, attention to every detail and a friendliness of service to leave you wanting for nothing...Except perhaps a longer stay! With excellent cuisine and a wonderful effortless efficiency, it was difficult to leave. You are made to feel special from the moment you arrive to your departure, check out their guest books in the library which are filled with the gorgeous comments, superlatives and photos of many previous guests. Truly exceptional is this hotel, which has a unique charm in proportion to its size, which leaves you with a sense of private exclusivity which many of the larger hotels can often lack. Go on treat yourself and spend a bit extra currency, you will know where it went. Don't be tempted to scrimp and save elsewhere, you will get value here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Sunset Meal at Mom Tri or one of the new restaurants further up Prom Thep Cape...Book a table to secure between 6.15 - 7.00pm

The architecture of the hotel, prime location of the hotel in the best part of Phuket.
The staff should be tranied to communicate in english language.
The hotel architecture is very unique and looks like a small village, the beaches are so clean and quite, hotel restaurants cover a variety of quisines and dishes with affordable prices. staff is very well tranied, freindly, and ready to do anuything to satisfy the tourists and make them spend a weel organised stay. spa facilities are of very high standard.

Hotel grounds, friendliness of staff, fantastic rooms, great beach
Walk up and down to town of Kata, a struggle, take hotel shuttle
We have just returned from a repeat visit to Mom's Tri Villa Royale. We first went to Villa Royale last year and loved the hotel and the quiet beautiful beach of Kata Noi bay that the hotel looks over. Returning anywhere with the view of repeating past happiness is risky, and this was the last leg of our four stop Thailand trip. To this point everything had been just excellent, which made us a little nervous about how we might find Villa Royale. Fortunately, I'm really pleased to say that the hotel was everything and possibly more than we remembered. The gardens of the hotel are lovely, not huge, but integrated into the fabric of the layout. Water is key to the gardens, with three or more small swimming and plunge pools and numerous ponds either cascading down the centre of the garden or just covered with flowering lillies and lotus plants and alive with fish, frogs and nature.
On both visits to Villa Royale we have had an entry level room which I can only describe as magnificent. The bed is huge, the interior design rustic oriental and the view is to die for. The staff at the hotel are exceptionally friendly and helpful and couldn't do more for us - always with the famous Thai smile.
We took breakfast and sometimes lunch at the hotel which was always very good. If you like fine dining then Villa Royale is a must for you as it has one of the best restaurants and cellars on the island, and if not then there are several good restaurants just down the road in Kata. The walk up and down the hill to Kata can be an aerobic challenge but the hotel has a bus that can take this strain away.
Nightlife Tip : Go to Patong beach at night and spend a night at a bar, Blue Lotus is a good one, and watch the ladyboys and life walk by, great free entertainment

Location of the hotel, remarkably freindly staff, unique architecture of the hotel and rooms.
The staff needs to be better skilled with english language to be able to serve the guests needs and quries.
The hotel is located in the most beautiful and cleanest part of Phuket were the beaches are very quite and enjoyable. Its fews minutes away from the shopping area and restaurants by walk. The staff is more than excellent and perfectly trained to staisfy the guestes. The restaurants of the hotel offer a variety of exotic food with affortdable prices. The architechure of the hotel and the rooms is so unique which makes you enjoy the atmosphere of the far east for real.
Travel tip : You must try the "Oasis on the sea" hotel restaurant which is 5 minutes walking diatance away.
Fantasea show ia a must see in Phuket.

On a hill, possible issues for those with limited mobility.
Mom Tri's is an outstanding hotel with awesome service in a great location for a very reasonable price. I especially loved the balcony which overlooked Kata beach...outstanding! There is no doubt that when I return to Phuket I will be staying at Mom Tri's once again.
One thing some may not like is the somewhat secluded location on the hotel. This is not a hotel for those that want to go out partying at night.

We spent 2 days there during our honey moon. We recieved a special cake, welcome fruit, a speically decorate huge bed. All these surprise are not enough. They hotel gave us another room to have rest for 4 hours in the last day after we checked out.Definitely, this is the best hotel we ever stay.

mom tri's royale villa is truly a royale escape. situated on a cliff overlooking kata noi beach, mom tri's is actually a private villa opened to the public. The views are breath taking, the service impeccable. Mom tri's kitchen is one of the best restaurants in phuket. and the spa is truly wonderful. Can't say enough about this place. Definitely compares and beats the luxury hotels such as banyan tree and amanpuri. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : need taxi transportation to get the major attactions

Great location, rooms, service & food.
May be a bit hilly for older people.
Wife and I stayed at Mom Tri's for 6 nights.
Would have made our whole 3 week holiday there
if we knew it was so nice. Great location a little away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Beach location was fantastic with great views. Food was first class and prices were fantastic. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world and this has equalled if not bettered the best.

This for me is an ultimate romantic hideaway. Looking back at what we experienced its not cheap but it does offer amazing value for the money. A perfect place to go and chill at one of Phuket's unspoilt beaches.
Restaurant Tip : For a cool, authentic, Thai eating experience go and eat at the Kampong Kata Hill restaurant in Kata. Its a hidden gem of a place with amazing food.
