friendly, helpful, clean, tasteful
a bit of noise from the nearby bar, Nai Yang isn't the nicest place in Thailand
We stayed here for one night on our way home. I went for Nai Yang as it is near the airport and we had an early flight. It was a very pleasant hotel - the rooms are clean and tastefully furnished and the staff were really helpful. They made us a simple packed breakfast, called in at the room with a little buggy to take our bags and sorted out a car to the airport.
I'm not sure I would go to Nai Yang for any more than a night. It seems to be a slightly depressing place, although there was a really friendly bar near the hotel. Also, noise from the bar/s kept going late into the night, which was a bit disruptive for sleep, although the hotel itself is very peaceful.

Not far from the bars and noise but far enough that it won't annoy an early night. Towels provided hot water in some rooms. Overall a good location,
Breakfast is not great, but fills a gap if hungry and is better than some of the cafe breakfasts you get, there are stairs, a lot, hope you are not too far up, but the views are great and worth the climb to get away from it all. The beach is not far, about 10 mins walk, but not on your doorstep. The pool is tiny, tohugh, you can dip, but prob not swim.
It was lovely here, but I am not sure I would stay again, I think there are better places for cheaper, or at least places you get more for your money. It was nicely out of the way, but only five mins to the party scene, but I think other hotels offer similar. It is easy, once at Phi Phi to see photos of hotels and where they all are on a map from the many people trying to get you to their hotel. However, can't knock the rooms, they were nice compared to bungalows - air con is such a luxury!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The speedboat snorkeling trips are well worth going on to see the real beauty of Phi Phi, look for smaller boats for a better day, we only had four, which was great.

Great Rooms - new big clean rooms.
Close to beach - 1 min walk
Great service
Great Price
Local hotel resturant is a bit pricy compared to other local resturants near by.
Stayed 3 nights at the hotel - great reception and attitude - were upgraded without asking to a bigger room (pleasent surprise).
The room was big and comfartable - huge shower ,big bed big LCD tv ,great clean design.
Hotel is just a minute walk from the nai yang beach which is a long strip of a relative secluded beach - if you prefer the quite on the hectic sounds of the southern beaches this is a great pick - there is a relative small selection of bars and resturants near by but they were just enough - the main tourists beachs are 30 minutes drive so if you really need it it's not that far away.
Hotel is also located very close to the airport (no noise whatsoever) - so if you arrive on a late flight or would like to get located quickly it's a great solution.
We have a great time in a great hotel which gave us more then we expected in a relative low price - would definitly return when visiting Phuket.
Travel tip : Octapus resturant nice clean just near

New Rooms, cleanliness, landscaping and location.
Construction at the moment in the front near the outdoor restaurant (only a temporary drawback)
We very much enjoyed our second stay at Nai Yang. The Rooms are new, attractively decorated, clean and well serviced by cheerful staff daily. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The breakfast offerings are excellent and all staff are helpful and efficient. There is a variety in room type and price to choose from. There are two small pleasant pools to enjoy. The new construction promises even better services. The beach and good restaurants with a variety of food types are just across the road. The entire atmosphere is relaxed, quiet and laid back. The resort is located only five minutes from the airport and the resort provided transportation for us when leaving.
Restaurant Tip : Great brick oven Pizza restaurant across the street!

We had a garden view room (one of the older rooms).
Shopping Tip : Go to Tesco Lotus and buy an electric mosquito killer and it's bye-bye to those little buggers.
