Excellent for a relaxing break away from the crowds, but as there are very few restaurants open on Naithon beach in low season renting a car is a good idea if you want variety of dining. The Thai food at the hotel restaurant was good this year and there is a decent buffet breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is large enough for serious swimming. We have stayed there four times and will come again.
Location on quiet and beautiful beach.

Very few restaurants nearby in low season.
- Nightlife Tip : There is very little nightlife nearby.

Naithonburi beach and the area was very quiet - which suited us well. There are new buildings going up around the place, so this may change.
- Restaurant Tip : 'The Coconut Tree' is a small resturant up from the hotel that also has tables on the beach. The food is great and they serve huge tiger prawns with many of the dishes for a good price.

The hotel ambiance and comfort easily exceeded our expectations. However, if we were staying for an extended period we would have found its' isolation to be a negative point.

Consider this destination very seasonal as was there in early April 08 and the beach was safe, calm and beautiful to swim at ... also many little restaurants open on the beach. Previously went in April/May and the sea was dangerous; it was very windy and so none of the beach side restaurants were operating.
- Hotel Feature Tip : In the right season, this hotel would make an ideal place for a honeymoon or romantic interlude.
