hotel staff is friendly and helpful, but the room condition is bad. spacious room with old furniture and equipment. the TV is small . breakfast only have about 10 kinds of food, we had nothing to choose. we stay 3nights there, but from the 2nd day, the air-con is not working and watering whole day, the staff had come to fix it, but still not working. our baby was slipped off on the floor due to the water. and there is a small river outside the hotel, gives bad smell there.
won't come there again unless you're single traveler.

Peace in the centre of Phuket
Quiet yet central. Large clean rooms. Totally brilliant pool. Reasonably priced.

i usually look for a hotel with a central location and a large pool. everything was clean and well kept. usual breakfast - its much the same wherever you stay with ocassional marked exceptions. i only say this as an earlier reviewer was particularly disatisfied and i think that was unfair. staff are ok - a few went especially out of their way. one even switched on the pool jacuzzi for us after the pool was closed. good price. i would stay here again.
Travel tip:
Taxis are a complete and total rip off, 1400 bhat from airport to Patong (45 mins)- compare that with Bangkok where its about 350 bhat (not using the expressway) - its a slightly shorter distance but about the same duration journey. Maybe worth arranging for your hotel or someone to pick you up. I have never done this before but will next time I come.

Great place to stay

I have been to phuket heaps of times and thought we would take a punt on this place because it was cheap.
It was awesome, the price is low because it is 1 street back from the main drag but actually was closer than most other hotels to bangla road.
The pool is massive and well looked after as it appears to be a new place.
the rooms are new and beautiful.
i would stay here over any other hotel i have been to in phuket,
Nightlife Tip:
if you go left as you exit the hotel the first right along that street is bangla road, if you go straight ahead junglcylon is about 50 meters more.

Great Stay at Nipa Resert

Really nice hotel, with a nice pool, relatively close to the important parts of Patong. Given the price comparables, we this seems to be one of the best price-location-quality combination.
About 10 minutes walk to Bangla.
Room was very nice and quiet. The breakfast was pretty good.
When trying to arrange for a taxi to the airport, the staff was very helpful staff and gave us alternatives.

Our stay in Nipa Resorts, Patong.
-Clean rooms

-If u want to be away from the crowd and quiet area, this place could be ideal for u.

My husband and i had stayed in Nipa Resort(Deluxe room)and requested for a room with balcony facing the pool view. Unfortunately, the room that we requested was not available for that day.We were so disappointed with the room which was given to us, as the room was facing a dirty and abandoned building outside Nipa resort building. I was so particular about having room with balcony, and with such ugly view from the balcony, we closed the curtain, It was as good as not having balcony at all!!! The next day, we changed to different room facing the pool and it was nice!
In the morning, we had gone for breakfast in the restaurant and AC was not used, and all the windows and doors were open, and due to this there were lots of flies and ants in the restaurant. It is quite far to walk to Patong Beach, Bangla road, and Jungceylon mall.(Approx 20-30 mins UNDER HOT SUN) When it rains, it is impossible to walk through the road as the drain overflows and you find drainage water flowing through the road,not to mention the dirty unpleasant smell!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
-I would recommend you to hire a motorbike from the hotel(TB 250 per day.) It makes it easier to travel around.
-If u have the time,go to Phi Phi island. It's beautiful!! Do not buy the ticket from the airport or hotel. Its cheaper to buy it outside in patong.
-It will take approx 15 mins From Patong to Karon beach and Kata beach by motorbike.
-Visit to Bangla road is a must!
-Don't forget to get massage!

What a great break
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nipa, the rooms were good, and the pool and background setting meant you could have been anywhere in the world.

These are I statements, on review of this hotel. The rooms were excellent if you had the view of the pool.All the staff were extremely pleasant, especially if you took the time to know them. The pool area was great with the background view, though you need to be up early to book yourself a sun lounger. The 10 minute walk to the beach was a breeze, though crossing the road, would indeed be a problem for some people, and it wont get any easier as time progresses. The food I found was not much different than any other restaurant I visited, especially if you want to lose weight.
Restaurant Tip:
Thai food can often leave you feeling hungry, so a trip to the big department stores, and a visit to the Heinekin restaurant bar, with all you can eat for $8, fills that gap

Fantastic - I would certainly go back
Clean and very friendly staff. The hotel is close to Patong centre, but far enough to be away from the madness if you want. Very nice rooms (I had a deluxe pool access room)

I chose this hotel based on reviews I read on Agoda and Trip advisor both of which were spot on. Whilst I had booked for a standard room on Agoda, I had put in an electronic request to the hotel via agoda to book me for a deluxe pool access room (the hotel has only 7 of these) and they were very responsive to my request almost immediately sending me an e-mail with confirmation and allowed me to pay for the difference upon arrival. We were a honeymoon couple and they set up petals on the bed, in the bathroom and gave us a baked treat upon arrival - of five that we stayed at, this was one of the two hotels who did this for us in Thailand.
The hotel was great and I have no complaints except that the room we were given had twin beds joined together to make a double (I can understand this as they only have 7 of such rooms which are in high demand). Whilst the bed was large enough we had to get housekeeping to pad the mattress with a blanket to ensure that we did not feel the divide in the bed. Nevertheless the staff were very helpful and in fact they offered a free upgrade to a junior suite but in the end we settled for a free dinner treat (3 course meal which I must admit was fantastic and the best food we ate in Patong) as a compensation for not having a double bed as all the 7 rooms with pool access were fully booked during our stay there.
I must commend one of their staff at the check in desk (her name is Patima) who was very sweet to us and went out of her way to help us in all ways. She was certainly the most professional person I came across in all the 5 hotels I stayed in Thailand and extremely helpful with a big smile on her face right through. A very accommodating and pleasant individual indeed. We lost our camera in Patong area the evening before and the next day when we checked out and they allowed us to have a late check out and also leave out luggage at the hotel until later that evening whilst we searched for our camera (which we eventually found!) thank
Hotel Feature Tip:
Definately book a deluxe pool access room - it is worth the extra USD 20/night that I paid for the upgrade. Just be sure to ask for a double bed well in advance if you would not be comfortable sleeping on a twin that is joined to make a double.

A really great place to stay!
Staff was very nice, hotel is very clean, rooms are huge by asian standards, bed is comfortable, rooms are very modern. The pool is also very nice as well as the landscaping in general

Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. It's a great clean place to stay with rooms that are highly accomodating. It's only a short walk to the beach from here and other major attractions. I really miss the Nipa already!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Arrange the Siam Safari through this hotel...so much fun!

Nipa resort is nice place to stay for holiday. Although it is located not very close to the beach, you still can reach the nearest patong beach by walk. The room is quite space. It is comfortable for a couple. Most needed facilites are provided. But lack of power point, only one free power point can be used. Wifi is provided at lobby only and charge applied.
BTW, the resort is just opposit the biggest Patong Hospital. If you get lost, it is easy for you to find out the direction as no many people know nipa resort but most of local people know Patong hospital.
Shopping Tip:
Walk around 10 mins, you can find a large shopping center,carrefour, local market and supermarket.From there you can have a multi choice of food in terms of hygiene and delicious. The restaurants in Phuket is not really cheap. It is worth to buy some food from Carrefour.
