Ideal location off the beaton track.
Free wifi.
I found the staff a little abrasive whilst checking in they required a deposit because i was only staying one night and told them i will not be using the mini bar so they emptied it.
Would not stay here again.
Travel tip : Not for the older couples very steep hill to get to the hotel lobby we were ok

- Accommodations:Big room clean and nice view
- Front desk services:just ok! compared to other 4 stars hotel.
- Location: quite far from Patong Center and not good for elder since all the building located on hill side and no elevator service.
- Room, yes it's big and clean but it's quite out fashion and looks old. sucurity guard at in front of the lobby quite not polite with Thai client, I'd feedback about this iisue to front office but no prompt response and action.In my opion if you are expected for 4 stars service from this hotel it's just average.therefore,overall is overage and I won't recoomend to other friends.

Off the busy main drag set in tropical gardens with veiws over Patong beach. Fantastic pool & breakfast. Steep walk to your rooms so be prepared. bathrooms fairly small. We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Novotel & will stay again. Loved being away from the noisy Patong area, but close enough to it if desired. Private beach area at front of entrance with Tk Tk always available if needed if feeling lazy.Breakfast Fantastic & Hotel set on the hill so the views are sansational.
Restaurant Tip : On the bank overlooking the beach over from the entrance of Novotel is a great little outdoor restaurant great food and great prices.

Has to be the swimming pools. 10-15 minutes walk away from nightlife. far too many steps, You are exhausted getting to your room and Im a fit guy. RIP OFF TAXI AND TUK TUK DRIVERS 200 Baht minimum chage iven if you drove two feet away. We checked in together my Thai wife and I and after our first night out we came back to our room and we were stopped by Security and my wife was asked for ID card. the Security man in question was badly trained and extremly rude. I spoke to the Lady Hotel Manager the next morning who apologized and very kindly up-graded us to a suite which by her very actions alone saved me from checking out of the Hotel there and then. she also arranged for some flowers and fruit to be sent to the room,. If it had not been for her I would of left the Hotel.

very nice place... best in patong very nice sea view where you can see all the gulf area..people are very helpful and satisfactory always smiling..rooms are vey tight neat and clean..nice bathrooms showing asian nectar and the smell of east ..balconies are very nice and wide giving you privacy..tv is good with nice tourism channels
price is excellen..near to arabic food restaurants..supermarket and tourists kiosks

You can access a bus to take you up and down the driveway if needed.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to shops and restaurants. Cheaper to eat out as the hotel's dinners and breakfast were expensive.

Idyllic hotel. Exceptionally beautiful, especially the three tier pools. The staff were kind and helpful, even when our toilet broke it was repaired within an hour. The restaurants in the hotel are exceptionally good, and you are only a short walk to the beach. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds huge. We stayed up in the mountain chalets, and the only downside was the big hill to get there, and this may not suit older people or those with walking difficulties. However this hotel is magnificent.

Don't go to see Phuket Fantasea, as it is a waste of time and money. Very Las Vegas style and extremely fake. Lacking in culture.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : When planning a holiday make sure you spend time on Koh Phi Phi and at Railay Bay in Krabi. Phuket is fun but the islands are good to get away from the typical tourist scene.

Novotel Phuket whilst might have an excellent location could do with a bit of renovation to upgrade their current standards. Staff are a bit of a mixed bag. Some who will go out of their way to help you and some that just don't care about guests. Novotel Phuket also offer excellent Thai Massage services. Defintely recommend the Walnut Body Scrub as well.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book through the hotels. Lots of small time tour organisers around in Phuket who will give 50% discounts and so forth just to get your business. These tours are not very well organised and nor do they care if its bad weather and you cant see anything or that there's mud and water gushing down the hill where one could have a nasty fall. Once they have taken money off you they will not want to return it and will try and prolong your tour for as long as possible rather than giving your money back. Hotel obviously deal with reliable tour operators with whom safety comes first.They might be a bit more expensive but you rather pay more than have a bad experience.
